"The hotel facilities were very good. Only disappointment was that the coffee machine was out of order most of the time. This was extremely inconveniencing since there are no facilities to prepare coffee in the rooms."

Hôtel le Royal Lyon - MGallery
"My stay at the hotel left a positive impression. The rooms are spacious, the bed is soft, and high-quality hair products are provided. The hotel is conveniently located. The breakfasts were delicious, including freshly squeezed juices (orange, apple, grapefruit, lemon), a detox drink, and kombucha. Eggs were cooked to order in various styles. There was also a wide selection of desserts. The only thing I didn't notice when booking was the need for a deposit—300 euros for 3 days."
Villa Florentine
"Very attentive staff"
Boscolo Lyon Hotel & Spa
"Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lyon. From check-in to check-out almost everything was perfect. The only three things I would improve are: 1) the hotel bar didn't have stools 2) the Nespresso Machines didn't have single serve coffee-mate creamers or at least powder so you had to call down for cold milk for 5€. 3) like many hotels in Europe they didn't have wash cloths in the room (face cloths or serviettes carrés as they call them). What do Europeans wash with? The lobby was elegant and inviting. The Grand Salon was cinematic. The rooms albeit a little small were well designed, comfortable and had great AC and rain showers. The pool, sauna, steam room, tea and relaxation room in the basement were perfect after a hot day touring Lyon. The cocktails were prepared with love and attention and served in vintage glassware. However martinis and old fashioned's should have more than loz of alcohol. The breakfast buffet was complete and delicious and you could even order an avo toast, truffled omelette or œufs a plat a la carte. I highly suggest you book the bed and breakfast rate to not be shocked by the 39€pp charge if you didn’t. Their Italian restaurant, Angelo's, looked delicious, but was a little pricey so we ate out all three nights in the Capitale Gastronomique de la France. The staff were warm and accommodating and it's in my top 3 reasonably priced boutique hotels in Europe."
Sofitel Lyon Bellecour
"The hotel is a little tired but enjoyed our stay"
Fourvière Hôtel
"The hotel's interior decoration is simple. You can see the night view of Lyon from the hotel room. The breakfast is pure American style, with salmon, sausage, bread, and fruit. It takes 8-10 minutes to walk to Notre Dame de Fourvière. You will pass the ruins of the Roman Theater on the way. I encountered a thief while transferring to the Notre Dame subway, but fortunately I found it early."
Nemea Appart Hotel So Cloud Lyon Gare Part-Dieu
"Would use again. Safe didn’t work and staff could not resolve problem."

L'Ermitage Hôtel Cuisine-À-Manger
Crowne Plaza LYON - CITE INTERNATIONALE by IHG
"The service here is really of no comparison . We were staying 2 nights with a public holiday and despite under staff and a few issues with the room, the hotel service counter lady Lea demonstrate great attention and deliver to our needs that allows us to stay comfortablely. The hotel location next to park is another plus ."
Lagrange Aparthotel Lyon Lumière
"Pretty good price/quality"

"Review from my 13 years old daughter :) Enjoy it. We came to this hotel thinking it was going to be an amazing experience, but sadly it was the complete opposite. At first it seemed okay, although the first impression it gave us was that it was far too new to be good. Unfortunately, we were right. Exhausted, we stumbled into our rooms, ready to sleep. But the moment we opened the bed sheets, we were horrified. They were covered in hair. It honestly looked like dogs had been sleeping on the bed and the sheets hadn't been washed for weeks. We hoped the other room would be better, but it was just as bad. There were multiple stains all over the bed, and it made us feel absolutely disgusted. We went straight back to reception and asked to change our rooms. To our surprise, instead of apologizing, they completely denied what we were seeing. They kept insisting that the sheets were clean, even though they clearly weren't. It was unbelievable. Eventually, after arguing with them, we were finally given different rooms. Thankfully, they weren't as bad as the first ones, so we were finally able to get some sleep. The next morning, we still had a lot to do, but we decided to do the right thing and speak to reception again. We asked if they could offer us one free night to make up for such an awful experience. The receptionist seemed completely shocked and had to call the manager. This is where the experience became even worse. Instead of trying to solve the situation professionally, the manager spoke to us aggressively and immediately refused. Rather than taking responsibility for the disgusting condition of the rooms, they simply offered us free access to the pool, as if that could somehow make up for sleeping in filthy beds and the way we had been treated. By that point, we had completely lost our patience. We were tired of the poor cleanliness, tired of being told that what we clearly saw wasn't real, and tired of the rude attitude from the staff and management. We had enough. We packed our things, left the hotel, and booked another one instead. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and we certainly will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone."
