Travelodge Rhyl Seafront

Travelodge Rhyl Seafront

📍 East Parade, Rhyl
★★★ 8.4 (40 reviews)

"We stayed at Travelodge rhyl seafront for two nights and we was very happy from the moment we checked in, staff here are fantastic. They are so welcoming and friendly. Room was spotless and bed was so comfy we had the best night sleep, we decided to have breakfast which was really good, All cooked fresh and plenty to choose from. All in all we had a lovely stay and will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 highly recommended."

Faenol Fawr Hotel

Faenol Fawr Hotel

📍 Bodelwyddan, Rhyl
★★★ 8.1 (74 reviews)

"Although the exterior of the building and its restaurant are stunning, the room doesn't match the aura of a 16th-century manor house. The velvet headboard of our bed is dusty, there is no provision for room slippers, and no side table lamps beside the bed (there are hanging lamps on each side of the bed but the switch is on the wall behind the door, you'll need to get up to turn on/off). Also, there's no night light for those who can't sleep without a little light. But since we only stayed there for one night, it's all fine for us. The receptionist is very kind and always cheerful. We had a good typical English buffet breakfast. If you don't have a car and want to see the village, you'll have to walk to the hospital's bus stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and wait for a bus at a one-hour interval (at least on Sundays). Rhuddlan is a lovely, quaint village with pleasant and kind people. Aldi, Starbucks, McDonald's and local pubs and cafes are available so you won't worry about basic stuff. I just wish our room reflects the mystery and beauty of a 16th-century manor house. Maybe, we'll stay there again if ever we go back to Rhuddlan."

Premier Inn Rhyl Seafront

Premier Inn Rhyl Seafront

📍 21-26 W Parade, Rhyl
★★★ 7.4 (45 reviews)

"Good location- right on the sea front, next to the promenade. Good base to stay at if exploring or wanting to visit neighbouring coastal beaches like Colwyn Bay, Llandudno. Premier plus rooms are really nice- comfortable beds, Coffee machine, Ironing Board snd Iron, contemporary walk in shower with Rainfall shower and mini fridge with complimentary water and chocolates. The rooms also have better wifi. Dining- this is the only thing I feel needs improvement. We stayed on a bank holiday and wanted to eat desserts at the restaurant, but were told that there was no more food available that evening. This was mirrored at breakfast the next morning. Thankfully we had pre-booked our breakfasts, but upon entering the restaurant there was a sign saying they would only be able to accept pre- booked breakfast customers due to lack of food. We saw a family being turned away at the door who had not booked breakfast but had stayed at the hotel. So worth booking breakfast/meals beforehand if this is something you are considering. Food at breakfast was the usual standard offering of croissants, pastries, fruits and cereals, as well as cooked breakfast including eggs (you could order poached or scrambled via the serving staff). However, things were running low (plates and food) and were being replenished at a slow pace. Parking on site is handy but you have to walk around to the back to access the car park."

Marine Holiday Park

Marine Holiday Park

📍 Marine holiday park Cefndy Rd, Rhyl
★★★★ 6.4 (40 reviews)

"We have just left here after a 5 day stay. Caravan clean and tidy, we did have a problem with getting locked in the toilet and bedroom. Doors would only open from outside. Large wheelie bins didn’t have lids and were over full, so problems with seagulls making a mess with the rubbish. Only one toilet in girls toilet in club house would flush. Reported it on first day but didn’t get fixed the whole time. Entertainment was ok, first singer Dane? Was good and entertaining. Kids disco ok, evening singers (the ones we seen) could have more personality. Shame there was no Bingo or family quizzes, we were expecting more. Pool was clean and tidy and well managed. Lots of kids running around the site with seemingly no parents though. Food venues not restaurants as i had expected, only kiosk type venues and closed before 9. Good location for exploring the town of Rhyl which was nice, good places to eat, things for kids to do and a good pool with slides. Overall good but could do better."

Premier Inn Rhuddlan

📍 Castle View Retail Park, Rhuddlan
★★★ 8.8 (42 reviews)

"We had a lovely stay at Premier Inn Rhuddlan and were really happy overall. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything felt very welcoming. Just a few small suggestions — the bathroom floor was quite cold, so a bath mat would be really helpful. The breakfast and dimmer took a bit longer than expected, and it would be great to have some halal food options too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come again!"

Travelodge Rhyl Seafront ★★★
"Booked this hotel specifically because it was dog friendly, sadly told at reception though that dogs are no longer permitted in the bar area anymore. Rather annoying giving its advertised as dog friendly. Perfect location though with the beach being right on the door step. Nice food in the restaurant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. WiFi needs sorting out as well, 30 mins free and then you have to pay?"

Premier Inn Rhyl Seafront ★★★
"Good location to amenities, room was nice and clean. Good value for money. Took a while to check in as there were no staff at the desk. Had a noisy child next door during the first night of our stay. Lots of running around till gone midnight. The tv remote was missing from our room , but we were unable to get hold of any staff. Overall, apart from a few minor things, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again."

"STOP DONT PANIC!!! Like you I read the reviews and was worried about what I had booked, BUT I shouldn’t have worried. We stayed over Easter weekend and wow we had the best time. The caravan was clean and had everything we needed. The site itself was great 2 club houses a clean pool and a lovely cafe. The entertainment was great and we enjoyed the afternoon entertainment in the sports bar with great singers. The staff were helpful and the entertainment team were amazing. Had some amazing laughs and will definitely be back. There is lots to visit in the surrounding area including a lovely waterfall with a cute little tea room."
