"We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Valley View Hotel Encumeada and honestly would have preferred spending more days here over some of the other hotels we stayed at on the island. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and available around the clock, always ready to help with anything we needed. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they had everything we needed — a spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, and a charming balcony to relax on. The property also offers plenty of parking and is in an ideal location, very central to many of the island’s most popular hikes. The breakfast was average; it was the same offering each day and much of it would be gone early thanks to the hikers, but the coffee machine was great and always hit the spot. Overall, we would definitely recommend adding extra days at this hotel to your itinerary — you won’t regret it. One last detail worth mentioning is how clean the room was, something my girlfriend specifically appreciated. My only small criticism would be the pillows — each side only had one small, fairly uncomfortable pillow, so that could definitely be improved."

"Great place to spend the night in the mountains! The hotel itself is pretty basic but the shower was hot and the breakfast plentiful - what more do you need really?? The surrounding area is absolutely stunning too. Fantastic value for money all round!"

"A very good **** hotel! Delicious breakfast buffet. It's the same every day, but there's plenty of choice! The evening buffet (6:30 PM - 9 PM) is also highly recommended. Always a choice of soup, meat, fish, salad, and vegetables! It's a shame the indoor and outdoor pools aren't heated."

"Шикарный домик на краю земли с великолепным интерьером, двери, окна, мебель, красота и стиль. Потрясающая терраса, дающая возможность увидеть и услышать океан. Умиротворение, тишина и красота. Отель у самого подножья скалы на самом берегу океана, добраться можно только на фуникулере, оплата за него включена в стоимость проживания. Отель на территории фермы, где выращивают бананы, авокадо, овощи, в отдельно загончике разводят коз. Можно прыгать с пирса, купаться, загорать, слушать птиц и любоваться на волны. Большое спасибо за ваш труд, за теплый прием, за гигантсую корзинку с завтраком, собранную для нас при раннем отъезде."
