Travelodge Ludlow Woofferton

Good hotel, seemed clean enough,although when trying to get rid of the midges (due to weather, fair enough) off the window ledge using a wet wipe, said wipe was black!Windows/ledges needed cleaning inside. Upstairs room (only two floors) the water pressure was the worst we have come across. The shower had a detachable shower head-good, but the water pressure was absolutely awful,no better than a watering can!Bathroom clean,although bit of a brown stain round basin outlet.Covers and pillows / towels,spotless.carpet clean. Kettle did not work at all ,but when taken to reception was swapped for their own kettle which was ok. Plenty of hanging space/shelves. Tv good. Wi Fi ok. Massive room. Parking good.Fantastic Asda garage with good shop for all your needs. greggs,coffee,alcohol etc.

One of the best Travelodge's we've stayed in. The reviews are true. Very clean, comfy with a very friendly & helpful team. We stayed on our way to the Lakes and are booked in on our way home. Excellent food in pub two minutes walk away, the Salary Arms.

Needed time away following bereavement read reviews on this lodge wasn't disappointed excellent location to get into Ludlow and very quiet . Would difenatlety stay here again.

Have stayed at this hotel before. Arrived at hotel slightly before book in time the receptionist was happy to let us check in slightly early. Plenty of parking although car park needs sine repair. Rooms clean and comfortable beds staff very friendly and helpfull central location wuth ludlow town centre less then a mile away Starbucks and Gregg's opposite for breakfast

We've stayed at Woofferton Travelodge for several years and it has been our favourite location. Although we've found the process of booking and requesting Quiet Rooms has been very straightforward and the staff always extremely friendly and helpful, on our latest overnight stay, we were disappointed in a noticeable drop in standards in several areas. When we first arrived, we immediately had problems with the WiFi which we had paid for. Although I was able to immediately log in my phone as the First Device, my partner was unable to log in her phone as Second Device. After trying every possible remedy, we discovered by accident that the Second Device login page had a fault and was offline throughout our stay. Wasted money here. Then, during the night, we were disturbed by loud mechanical noise from an electrical cabinet next to our room. This had happened twice before at Woofferton and once at another location, each time we had to asked to be moved to another room (not possible this time as the hotel was fully booked). Thankfully the noise subsided in the early hours, but we lost a lot of sleep. We like to walk in the hotel grounds, but this time we noticed how shabby and run-down the exterior of the building had become. At the back of the hotel, a lot of wooden structural components including window ledges had completely lost their paint finish and the bare wood was beginning to rot away. The exterior looks shabby and neglected and could definitely do with some serious maintenance and repairs.

Good and easy accessible location, still very quiet. Inside very clean. Best of all, very friendly and extremely helpful staff
