The location is right in the intersection with another 2 hotels in this area. Parking is cheap CAD$13.55, better than parking on the street. It had a strong smell of garbage at the entrance of the hotel, but not sure where it came from.
We checked in innthe late evening, standing at the front desk for a minute until I made a voice of clearing my throat. The receptionist put down his food and asked us to wait for him washing his hands. Shouldn’t he be aware of the people walking in from the door instead of enjoying the football match on the screen?
Our room was at the ground floor facing the Main Street. Here is the problem. The window cannot be open, no fresh air came in. It should be fenced instead of constraining not able to open it. Air conditioning must be on to get air. The weather was temperate, which means you get too hot if the heater is on or too cold if the AC is on. We finally chose to turn on the AC, and it grumped all night.
The room facilities has been renovated, but there were holes on the cushion seat. No work desk, and we had to work in bed on our lower limbs. We skipped the breakfast as there were very limited options with one type of meat provided - sausage only. The rests are waffles and cheese omelettes. The bed seemed clean, but it was too dim to see it clearly. At least it’s firm and not collapsing. I wouldn’t come back due to the environmental hygiene.
