This is not a family accommodation.We booked for a family of 4 but the bottom stairs is a night club/pub. Maybe it’s good for young travellers that no children but not for a family. And the service is utterly disgrace as no phone service available. You can not contact them, we tried to contact them that we will be late checking in but the phone number on the webpage is not recognise. And we stood for almost 20minutes at the bar when we checked in as waiting for the staff to take us to the room. Will if you trying to picture out the movie of Lord of the Rings when the hobbit were drunk and asking for a room accommodation this scenario you will experience here 🙁😉

We stayed two nights, unfortunately paid in full on check in. £130. Shown to room 2, which had very low threshold over door. Also the bathroom although private was just next door. As was room 3.I managed to bang my head twice, so tried to swap room, rooms 1 and 4 had on suite,but we couldnt change as already booked by others who had not arrived. Although our room was adequate for the price paid, I would stay hear again unless I had room 1. Im sure there is alot better accomidation else ware. But we didnt have time to look around and change.

Lovely welcoming venue popped in for a few drinks with freinds bar staff were kind and very friendly, gave some good recommendations for places for us to visit whilst we were in the local area would recommend to all my freinds and family to visit this place if they are passing!

This should not be advertised as a hotel, it was disgusting, mould on the walls, terrible smell of damp, flaking ceiling, dozens of dead flies in light fittings, I really didn’t think places like this still existed and to be classed as a 3 star, well that’s a joke. Please do not go to this hotel you will be very disappointed

nice place garden very clean thank you for your help ive managed to sort it ok drinks good , food good service good probably one of many good pubs in the area town nice to visit great local knowledge of the area
