Great location. Small , compact rooms , well equipped. Quiet, good lighting. Good value. I have stayed here a few times paying between £40 and £80 per night. Perfect for one person, could be a bit of a squash for 2. Easy access ro river and restaurants

This is an excellent hotel. Nice room. Very clean. Very quite. Comfortable bed. Super shower. River view. There is a microwave and a fridge. Tea and coffee provided. Very good value for money. I would happily stay again. Lots to explore in Richmond.

Excellent value for money! Really enjoyed my stay here and a great position on the banks of the Thames. Bus stop very close to the hotel and loads of good restaurants nearby and a convenience store over the road. Great having the kitchenette which had everything I needed and more. Clean with great decor. My toilet didn’t flush and was repaired promptly. Will go back.

The location is very nice, being right near to the river. A short walk from the train station & theatre. The bed was comfortable. I would have preferred 2 pillows rather than the 1 provided. The room lacked basic cleaning, such as the rug needed hoovering, and it has a few stains. Beside the bed, there were coffee cup ring marks and a hair in the corner on the bedside table... so simple to have cleaned. The view from the window was a filthy old set of concrete stairs (basement floor) again easy to improve for guests. The bathroom could have certainly been cleaner. The arrival at Reception could have been more pleasant. The lady seemed quite disinterested. I had to ask at Reception for our refreshments to be topped up as we had hardly any sugar and zero milk for hot drinks... again, it's a very basic thing. The website also states rooms have complimentary toiletries in them... ours had none, I asked, but we didn't get anything. Overall, it was a very forgettable stay and not somewhere we would choose to go back to. It gives off an impression of being a quality hotel, but that wears off pretty quickly!

Stayed here for one night over Xmas. We had a basement room which was very compact. There was a bit of an odd smell when we arrived and the smell didn’t really dissipate. The room was quite stuffy and thankfully we could open a window. Have stayed in the Waterloo Nox and it was much nicer. The bed linen at the Richmond Nox was really poor quality and not high thread count. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Good points Location was great, clean and comfortable room Bad points In a basement with no lift. Window didn’t close properly and faced a lightwell filled with rubbish and leaves. Most of the night, delivery staff (I think) from nearby takeaways sat outside having banter making impossible to sleep without earplugs. Staff couldn’t advise on local disabled parking rules. Bed was small. Kitchen was poorly equipped - no bowls, saucepans, chopping knives, spoons etc. Really really hot and stuffy and with the air con on really really cold. No in between temperature seemed possible. Room so small we had to put luggage in the bath - which smelt of drains. Would we stay again? No. Richmond is fab but this hotel is more like a basic hostel despite being clean and new.

Stayed at the NOX in August when going to a Tom Grennan concert. Genuinely nice hotel. Clean and all the amenities you need. Air conditioned which was handy as the weather was hot. Close to the high street and couple of minutes walk from lots of car parks and train stations. My only criticism would be the bed wasn’t overly big which I think was due to the room layout. Probably would have been a more luxurious hotel had they not squeezed a few extra rooms in but was definately value for money. Would stay again

This place is disappointing. The bars next door were so loud, did not get any sleep until the early hours. The TV in the room did not work so unable to drown out the noise of shouting and swearing from the pubs. When reported the TV not working I was just told there was nothing they could do. Room very small for price, kitchenette was a wardrobe with a sink and a hob, but no bin if you did cook.

The rooms were nicely decorated and clean but quite cramped. There is a nightclub next door so there was a constant hum of music and people coming in at 5am making a lot of noise which woke us up. There is no parking but it is quite close to the train station.
