Spa doesn’t work..bbq is disgusting..card readers to get into room never work.. mattress and comforter had stains all over it

We were passing through Yosemite East Gate from Los Angeles at 3pm. We stayed there for one night. It was a standard motel. The room was not soundproof. There were always people passing by the door in the middle of the night. My dog kept barking. The breakfast was not a buffet and the portion was not large.

We booked this as a group of 2 families, and the staff were not ready to accommodate our request to provide 2 adjacent rooms. They later called us to check out instead of honoring the request.

Check in great . I had to ask for room to be cleaned maids never showed up and I ask for extra towels. Walked property in the morning for a morning walk and walkways sticky and filthy all over. My neighbor staying for construction in the area and their trucks loud and backed in and their exhaust was going right in air conditioning and they were loud as hell. Place needs a update.

While checking in I was told the restaurant would close at 9:30pm and when I went for dinner they were closed at 8:30.

This place was fine for a quick work trip. The breakfast was good and check in/out was smooth. The rooms and restrooms can use a good deep cleaning and some upgrades. Mattresses

There are many choices for motels in Ridgecrest so when we had to pack up our camping site at Red Rock Canyon State Park in a wind emergency and find a place to stay on short notice while sitting on the side of Hwy 14, we had to decide quickly based on reviews & price. If you're willing to pay over $200 per night, there are probably very reliable places to stay. For under $200 per night, this is probably your best option. The breakfast is so good that after 9am it becomes a public restaurant and the local seniors and others flock to it. The pool & spa are well maintained. In general, it was a very nice campus. The check-in clerk referred us to Albertaco's for a late night bite and he was spot on. Another place to check out is the Ven restaurant near HD. And don't forget the Red Rock Books, a gem in the desert.
