We stayed here for a night on our way down south, At just over 4 hours drive from the Channel Chatillon sur Seine makes for a convenient stop and whilst the town itself isn't overly interesting, this beautiful B and B residence makes for an ideal stay. The property is in a quiet side street a few minutes walk to the town centre and with easy free parking directly opposite. The courtyard beyond the high wall is lovely with tables and chairs in a well tended garden. Our room on the first floor was more like a suite - very spacious with a separate dressing room, a modern well equipped bathroom with good shower, tea and coffee including an espresso machine, good free wi fi and a supremely comfortable bed. The owner was very welcoming, recommending and booking our evening meal at a nearby restaurant (L'Evidence - again excellent and subject of a separate review). Breakfast the following morning, served at a communal table in an elegant dining room, was delicious featuring great croissants, bread, preserves, fruit and a wonderful choice of cheeses. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended!

Such a charming and lovely guest house in a beautiful traditional French home. The room was super clean and comfortable and breakfast was generous and tasty. Frederique was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We should have taken her suggestion to book a dinner in town in advance as we forgot and all local restaurants were nearly all fully booked. There is good parking and a very charming garden. Lovely stay.

A beautiful period residence. Old-world charm, decorative details and furnishings from the last century. In a quiet and peaceful area of a peaceful town, the sleep quality is excellent. In the hotel industry, for obvious reasons, I always prefer to find white linen in the bathroom but here, unfortunately, it is dark blue. In the room the cleanliness is quite good, less so in the building; a little dust here and there, dusty chandeliers, some sloppiness. Overall I think it is one of the best options for sleeping in Chatillon-sur-Seine. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Superbe hôtel particulier idéalement situé dans le centre de Châtillon sur Seine. Chambre spacieuse, très agréable et très confortable. Literie au top. Petit déjeuner complet très bon. Le parking juste devant la maison est très pratique.
