Rixwell Old Riga Palace Hotel

Beautiful location with easy access to the old town and market. Breakfast was warm and delicious. However, we were disappointed to be given a smaller room than the standard one we had booked.

We had a pleasant stay. Location is near bus station and market. It was convenient to get around by public transport.

Great location, clean room with city view. The price was surprisingly reasonable than the similar quality.

The hotel is a bit outdated but it has everything that’s needed for and it’s quite clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was quite ok. Not so far from the main bus station and quite a number of bus stops and tram stops. Walking distance from the old town.

Rixwell hotel was an old, soviet era styled hotel which gives you a trip back to USSR. It was classy, but the interior may feel a bit worn down.

The main plus of this hotel is the location, which is great not only to visit the old town but also other spots in and around Riga. Rooms are a bit basic and might need a little revamp

It was totally amazing for staying at this hotel. This hotel is located near the market and central place and convenient.

Very central hotel close to bus station and all attractions. Room basic but clean. Large bath with plenty of hot water. Kettle and hair drier supplied. Good varied breakfast with plenty of it and dining room not too crowded.

Perhaps ten years ago, this would have been considered a four-star hotel, but nowadays the facilities feel quite outdated and no longer live up to that standard. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean. The only downside was that the overall atmosphere felt a bit dark and claustrophobic.
