Salmon Rapids Lodge

When I booked a room I requested a view of the river because it would be my first time in Riggins. The lodge changed hands between the time I booked and when we arrived. The new owners not only honored my request, they gave us the best view overlooking the confluence where the Little Salmon flows into the Salmon River. We relaxed on the balcony and watched the little eddies and whitecaps and occasional rafters. We fell asleep to the sound of the rivers. The lodge is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome.

Booked this room knowing we would have laundry to do after running the main Salmon river. Was disappointed to find there was only one machine for the whole hotel. This area is a large recreational space with people needing a place to clean up before further travel. I would have not booked a room here had I known the facilities were so inadequate.

We stayed for three nights and loved it! Clean, beautiful, amazing river view, wonderful pool, great staff, and amazing continental breakfast. The lodge is port friendly and there’s great walking areas with access to the river below. The February special was a great anniversary gift for us! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

What a hidden gem, haven’t been to Riggins for quite sometime. Saw that they were running a special for the month of January and thought it be a great road trip with my S/O and show her more of Idaho. From the phone call to book the room, the check in and the check out was 5 Stars. Front desk ladies were so friendly, the gentleman at the bait shop and liquor store were so friendly. Our room faced the river, room was clean and cozy. We will be back this summer for a jet boat ride for sure. Highly recommend checking it out.

AWESOME VIEW! For my husband’s birthday, we got a suite so our friends could join us on the balcony. The staff was amazing and the room was perfect! We asked where to go to dinner and had a delicious meal. Check out time isn’t until 11am so we weren’t even rushed!

This place is not what it once was. So very disappointed. Will NEVER stay there again and will NEVER remcommend it. Checked in and heard first off that covid was a part of their probles. Its 2022 for goodness sake, quit blaming covid for the many problems that this place has, that you have neglected shamelessly. Here are just a few of the issues we had: Staff shortage is blamed on all the problems and people unwilling to work. Price is high for what you thought you'd get. Open only 5 days a week so don't plan on staying their on a Sunday or a Monday. Don't plan on any breakfast because they don't have one. Don't plan on much coffee. There was a Keurig for the morning cup but not many pods. Yes, they had one of those little pod things in the room but it only makes a small cup. We bought something in town and used the microwave downstairs (where they use to serve a nice breakfast). The microwave was very dirty. Why no one cleaned it, is beyond me. The toilet backed up for no reason and we talked to the person at the desk and we were told there was no maintenance man to perform this task and she presented us with a plunger and bucket. Some of the outlets need to be replaced because if you moved the item you plugged in, it would shut off. Lamps had cobwebs in them and looked very unsightly. No day to day maid service. If you needed more towels, you had to go down and ask for them. When trash got full, you had to go down, empty it and get new bags. View of the river was nice but it was before covid too.
