Rooms were OK, but not very clean because the cleaning lady rarely came. We ran out of toilet paper and it was simply not replenished. The food was literally disgusting. On the first day the food was raw, on the second day it was brought two hours later and was completely oversalted, and on the third day the food was full of tendons. The breakfast buffet did not have a large non-meat selection. So it was definitely not desirable.

The wellness area was big enough that you could always find a place to lie down. I think the highlight was the saunas in the forest, it was something totally different and Andy's infusions were great! I can recommend it. The room was OK and clean, I wouldn't book dinner next time. Breakfast was OK, but the buffet was unfortunately not sufficiently stocked, it was difficult to ask the staff at breakfast. On the other hand, the new bartender at the bar in the evening was great and was able to fulfill our every wish!

When I checked in, it was mentioned that room service only takes place every other day. I go on holiday to make the beds and clean the bathroom. Unfortunately, that didn't happen until the late afternoon of the second day, and not at all on the fourth day. The design of the menu from which you were supposed to choose at breakfast was a joke, but unfortunately not funny at all. "Pork belly, apple, carrot" was what a main course sounded like. Soup tasted like broth from a packet. Side dishes were always pureed, as if you were in a retirement home, and it was not clear what it actually was. There were plenty of rolls (9 baskets full on the buffet), but unfortunately they were as crispy as sawdust. No crispbread, wholemeal bread, etc., you had to cut the mixed bread yourself. Getting coffee from the machine is not exactly worthy of 4 stars. 6 loungers for around 120 guests in the spa area puts you in a good mood when the weather is raining. No event tips (Carnival week), no newspaper in the lounge, no toiletries in the bathroom, soap dispenser only worked with great effort. No idea who gave this place 4 stars and what for

Eine Verbesserung im Vgl. zum letzten Jahr: der Saunameister, der Aufgüsse macht, die zwar etwas lange dauern und recht lasch sind, aber immerhin...
Was zu verbessern ist:
Freitagabend sagte die Bedienung in der Bar, sie könne keine Cocktails mixen, da sie nur die Aushilfe sei. Wenn man eine Bar betreibt, muss jemand da sein, der Cocktails kann.
Beim Abendessen war die Vinaigrette aus und wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt. Das andere Dressing schemckte nach nichts.
Pfeffer- und Salzstreuer gingen zum Teil nicht richtig bzw. waren weitgehend leer.
Beim Frühstück gab es keine Vollkornsemmeln o.ä. und man musste einige Zeit auf Nachschub beim Rührei und bei den im Übrigen gut gemachten warmen Champignons warten.
In sämtlichen Duschen im Wellnessbereich gab es kein Duschgel.
Das Robenstein würde noch besser dastehen, wenn es sich einiger Details - siehe oben - ernsthafter annähme.
Grundsätzlich kann man es empfehlen, aber manch eine Schwäche ist ärgerlich und darf in einem Vier-Sterne-Haus nicht sein.

On Christmas Eve, the chaotic, unorganized meal, which was advertised as a gala dinner, lasted over four hours. Wine was only available in bottles. Nothing happened for a long time between courses. Some tables didn't even get the first course because the roast goose was gone. Nobody communicated why there was this chaos, which led to great annoyance. One problem with the large complex is the far too small dining room, where people sit close together. The organization in general is not good. We had to request confirmation of our booking several times.
