What an amazing experienced! We really love this place. The nature is conserved well By the owner- this place is owned By the orang asli. The water fall is amazing. We had the natural pool right in front of the cottage. Kids really enjoyed the place. Definitely will come again.

Stayed one night over the weekend upon the suggestion of my wife who stumbled upon this place via Google. This place is easily accessible from the town of Ringlet. The humble family hut we stayed in had all the basic needs such as attached toilet/bathroom, dining area outside of the hut and the all important mosquito net 😊 ! The dinner prepared for us was authentic Orang Asli dinner with baked potato, rice cooked in a Bemban leaves, baked fish and barious dishes prepared using the abundant vegetables and herbs found around the inn. A major plus point is the nearby waterfall just besides the dining hall. The gentle stream near our hut is the ideal place for our kids to have some fun in. Overall, a very pleasant experience and atmosphere surrounded by calming nature and habitat of the Orang Asli. Thanks to the inn's manager Mr Goh who provided the guide and explanation on the plants and habitat in that area. Will definitely stay here again!

Truly unique and immersive experience
Nestled in the heart of the lush rainforest, the Rainforest Lodge in Cameron Highlands offers a truly unique and immersive experience. The setting is nothing short of spectacular, surrounded by verdant greenery and the tranquil sounds of nature. This scenic location provides a perfect backdrop for a memorable family getaway.
Culinary Delights
One of the standout features of our stay was the exquisite food. The lodge serves meals crafted from ingredients sourced directly from the jungle, offering an authentic taste of the local flora. We had the unique opportunity to participate in activities such as using blow pipes to gather ingredients and enjoying meals cooked on an open fire in a barbecue style. This hands-on culinary experience was both educational and enjoyable, particularly for our children.
Accommodation
The rooms at the Rainforest Lodge are basic and traditional, which adds to the overall rustic charm of the place. While the simplicity of the accommodations might be a challenge for those who are not fond of bugs, it significantly enhances the authentic rainforest experience. Our children found the traditional setting fascinating and it provided a great contrast to our usual city life.
Outdoor Activities
The lodge offers a variety of outdoor activities that are perfect for families. There is a beautiful waterfall and a small river where guests can swim and raft. These activities were a highlight for our children, providing endless entertainment and a chance to connect

Very iconic and nice stay. If you're looking for WiFi, jacuzzi or other luxurious stuff, you won't find it here. But if you want to learn something about the natives, try their hunting techniques and sleep in the jungle you're absolutely at the right place. I can highly recommend the accommodation! But don't forget your earplugs 😉

Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience.
Coming from a very hectic and stressful city environment, the soothing sounds of the waterfall and nature really helped to refresh us.
We enjoyed the different varieties of breakfast every morning. They brought in different types of local food for us to try. On the first morning it was Roti Canai, followed by curry puffs and kueh. And finally Nasi Lemak. All were delicious.
As the location of the inn is not near any outside eating places, we chose to order the native dinner each night. We enjoyed the grilled chicken and fish. The portions were very generous too.
The highlight of the stay for us was definitely the waterfall and stream. Taking a dip in the cool and clean waters was such a unique experience.
The room itself was comfortable and cooling. There are multiple power points in the room, which we appreciated. We opted to pay more to get the room with the attached bathroom, for convenience.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Nature lovers will really appreciate this place.

Fantastic host and staff. Very helpful and proactive from the moment we booked our stay. Gee Tek made sure our stay was as authentic as it could be. This really is the way the aborigines live and sleep. And if you are ok with the sound of a waterfall, sleeping is so peaceful and deep. A wonderful experience. The specially prepared aboriginal dinner was also surprisingly excellent, very fresh and very tasty. Mehom (I hope I have spelled that correctly) whose father is the original aboriginal dependent owning the vast expanse of land the the resort is built upon, was also very helpful and a great fountain of local knowledge. Pretty good with a blowpipe too. For us it was simply an experience we will never forget. No pretence, a real local experience. Steve & Chienni
