Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport

Perfect location, room spacious by airport hotel standards, clean, lots of tea and coffee options. Everything you need for a one night stay The staff are all very courteous and polite

Nice stay in the airport and very close to T2. The reception wasn’t able to check rooms available before 3 pm. Manchester was hot that day and the AC didn’t work very well. There is a nice and expensive restaurant downstairs.

The hotel is only a 5-7 minute walk (all indoors) from the arrivals section of Manchester's T2. Importantly, it is only about a 5min walk to the train station where you can take a 30min train ride into the city. The return trip for my wife and I was just under GBP16.00. Despite proximity to the airport, we didn't hear any planes at all! The rooms were modern, well furnished, bright and comfortable. The toilets were spotlessly clean and importantly the beds were very comfortable. Note that if you have a lot of luggage, there is a luggage trolley "rental" thing right outside the doors of the hotel. BUT DON'T DO THIS! Instead, just go to the ground floor of the train station (5min walk away) and pick up a luggage trolley for free instead of paying EUR2.00 for the "rental" of one. Check-in was not an issue and Alexandra handled the process very well despite the 'trainee' tag on her jacket. If I need to stay at an airport hotel in Manchester in the future, this is no doubt for me the one I'd book.

Hotel was super convenient inside the terminal of the airport. Perfect for before or after a long haul flight. Service at the front desk in the morning could be improved. I arrived around 8am after a long flight and asked to drop my bags and if any chance of an early check in. The man on the front desk said it was his second day, didn’t seem to know where to put my bags and told me absolutely no early check in. When I was waiting later I overheard another guest being given the option of paying for a 2 hour early check in. So new staff just need to be trained better in dealing with basic check in requests. Otherwise excellent facilities and breakfast!

The hotel room is very clean and the staff are friendly.I would recommend that place.

Not only was there a strong smell of drains in reception when I arrived last night but the girl who checked me in clearly needs re-training. After standing in line for 10 minutes to check in I get to the front of the queue she turned on her heals and walk away ! No “sorry I’ll be back”. Nothing I was left standing for an unacceptable length of time with my “hidden disability” badge clearly displayed (post brain surgery) until she returned giving no explanation or apology. Radisson ? Really ? The service felt more like Travel Lodge ! I’ll pay less go back to staying at The Clayton in future I think

The service was not good at all we booked a twin room and got a double room they said the hotel was full so I tried to book a twin and got one i don't like being lied to so I would not recommend.this hotel to anyone
