Rio Design Copacabana Hotel Reviews

The room I was assigned was an older room compared to the photos which showed modern design . I called the receptionist and he said the photos were illustration purposes only. The cold water knob in the shower was broken and there was mildew all over. They charge for storing suitcases! I traveled to 80 countries and this is a rare payment.

Simple, Clean, Honest breakfast. 1 block from Copacabana beach and easy to get around. Second elevator was on repair and caused some time loss. Staff quite helpful. I better Poor TV/movies channels.

The hotel is in a good location near Copa cabana beach. The breakfast is excellent. the rooms are clean but moderate

Great place to stay. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of bread, fruits, and drinks. Close to the beach and to other nearby stores - quick 3-5 min walk around the area. Staff was able to communicate well and provided good service.

Room 1405 on the top floor has serious temperature problems. The window panes are broken and only 6 mm thick. This is a security issue. You also have to take two elevators to reach it, and my key was reset three times. Even so, it was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located, which is what we wanted.

The location is ideal and the hotel is very nice. The gym wasn't working, and the breakfast was delicious, but the air conditioning was very strong (bring a coat).

A good hotel (if you take good rooms, like a junior suite, but they also vary), conveniently located. A full breakfast, scrambled eggs, sandwiches, fruits. You can rent a towel for the beach (10R), and also leave your things in the storage room (20R). Wi-Fi works well, the shower is cool, does not always give warm water.

Very good room, great location and great breakfast

We really liked the service, the night staff, who were super helpful and receptive, but on the website it shows that there is a swimming pool and when you search it says that there is a swimming pool, when you arrive at the hotel there isn't one, and it says that there is no additional pool. 1 year, plus we called to confirm if the pool was working and they said it was, negative point! I thought there was little variety at breakfast from one day to the next, and when you turn and move it, you could see a fly wanting to land on the bread, but there were about 3 different types of bread, cakes, desserts, the only one I liked was tapioca. with condensed milk, there could have been a greater variety, other than that the cleanliness was 10 to 0, it always seemed like we were arriving in the room for the first time, the cleaning lady was super friendly, and the location was perfect, we were able to walk to the beach. harpoador and Ipanema, the Copacabana fort is next door, and everything by Uber is very close, cable car, Christ, what was really missing was the pool!

The hotel staff are very friendly and help carry luggage to the elevator. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich and the fruits are delicious. The location of the hotel is also good, very close to the beach. There are many small supermarkets and restaurants around, very convenient

I stayed for a short time, practically only to sleep and have breakfast, the breakfast had a good variety, the cleanliness of the room could have been much better, the cleanliness of the sinks and the way of making the bed needed to be better The staff is friendly
