Mirasol Copacabana Hotel

They charge for luggage storage, which I find unreasonable.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mirassol; the service was good, the breakfast was good, the location was excellent, and access to the hotel's internal and external areas was easy. Areas for improvement would be: There should be no requirement to pay directly for using the restaurant, but rather the option to pay at checkout; the air conditioning noise in the room should be better addressed; and the cable TV connection should be improved, as some channels were freezing.

The service and hygiene were very poor, especially the front desk service.

For a short business trip, the hotel offers good service.

The location is good and the breakfast is great but that was it. We arrived and the room wasn't ready yet so we left our luggage at reception. When we left the hotel the lady at reception said we still had to pay to check in our luggage. Nobody told us that this would cost something so we didn't pay! The room was on the 1st floor and had no view from the window outside, you looked at a dark wall so the room was always dark and you never knew if it was day or night. When we got to the room in the evening and turned on the air conditioning, water suddenly ran down the wall and the whole floor was wet, our suitcases and clothes were wet and we had to dry them, the suitcase now has stains from it. So we couldn't use the air conditioning and couldn't sleep well. We asked the night shift at reception for a solution and he said he would get back to us. After 1 hour we asked him but nobody got back to us. The man at reception said he couldn't put us in a new room because apparently "everything was fully booked". A reduction in the price was also not possible. The room also smelled unpleasant and there were open shampoos from other guests. We cannot recommend the hotel - bad service!

Well located place with great service. The accommodation left something to be desired. In my room there was a lot of noise because of the air conditioners in the other rooms next door. (I didn't quite understand the logistics of the window), the intercom to speak to reception wasn't working, and at one point while taking a quick shower, the bathroom flooded the entire room. The hotel also does not allow smoking in the rooms, but there is no smoking area after 10pm. Apart from these details, it was a peaceful stay and in a well located and safe location.
