It's really close to everything and right in the heart of Copacabana. Their breakfast is super, and I'd recommend it for the value for money.

The room is clean and the location is unbeatable. Very convenient.

+ Pros: - 5 minutes to the beach - Delicious breakfast; we stayed for 7 days, and the dishes changed a little. - Easy access for taxis - Normal European outlets, and plenty of them - Hairdryer in the bathroom - No strange odors - Cons: - No kettle in the room. You can ask for hot water at the bar: a cup is free, a thermos costs money. - No nightstands by the bed - No hand towels - No toothbrush holders - No soap dish, soap sticks to the sink - Walls are scuffed - In one of our rooms, there was ancient dust upon check-in; we had to clean it ourselves. - Very strange shower: the showerhead is in the ceiling in the center of the shower cabin, so it's hard to avoid getting your hair wet if you don't want to wash it.

This hotel is excellent. For its price and location in Rio de Janeiro, it offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend this hotel; it's also close to the beach.

Like all Ibis hotels, it offers good value for money. The room was identical to every other Ibis worldwide, but in my opinion, the hotel should inform its guests before arrival that right now, the area where Ibis Posto 2 is located is practically hell on earth. There are huge generators running 24/7 on all sides, and pneumatic drills are going 24 hours a day – enough to drive you crazy. Before booking, call and ask if the construction work has finished. I had to stay for another 14 days, so I decided to change hotels.

The location is great. Just 2 blocks from the Copacabana beach! And just one street to the next Metro Station. When we arrived the room was very moist to the point that the walls were dripping wet. That solved itself over time, but the humidity in the room continued to be high. For half our stay also one elevator was out of order but of course I can't evaluate if that is a one off or a common occurrence. Other than that the room and the hotel were clean and well maintained. The room service was neat. The front desk was helpful, making an early check in possible.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, and everything was clean and well organized. Service was good and staff were helpful. The elevators were a bit problematic—very busy, and one was out of order but aside from that, a good stay.

There’re flies on bath area all the time. Make sure to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste. No complimentary water and you need to buy your own as well. Location is excellent

Location is close to Capacabana beach. Breakfast is good. Hotel does not provide tooth brushes and toothpaste, which is fine for green reason. However, it should be better to provide cups in the toilet.
