Upon check-in, we noticed that we only had 1 bath towel for our room of 5 occupants. We also noticed that the “blankets” on the beds consisted of only 2 top sheets and a very thin blanket. I asked the employee at the front desk for 4 more towels, enough for all of us, as well as a couple of extra blankets for the beds. After multiple attempts, including being told by the employee to come back later since the manager could not be reached, I was never given enough towels for my rooms occupants. I was never given any extra blankets, only a single top sheet. I was told multiple times that I already had enough towels in my room, even though I checked the entire room thoroughly a couple of times. I also asked about a roll away bed for one of my children, and was refused. I felt insulted and demeaned. I was courteous the entire time and was only asking for what my family needed for a descent stay. We shared each others wet towels, went to sleep and checked out the next morning, cutting our stay short and forfeited money at this property in order to enjoy warm and courteous customer service at a different property in town. Other Microtels may be fine, but I would never recommend this property due to their mismanagement and lack of courtesy and respect for their clients.
