The room was small there was mold in bathroom there was 2 of us in a room we had 1 king size bed and 1 single fold up cot which was not acceptable. Break was fair not great never any fresh fruit. We had synthetic pork which was like lunch meat with gravy on it that was poor in taste and flavor the potatoes were dry as a desert that seemed 2 days old. We asked the bartender to make an expresso martini and he didn’t have the ingredients thought that was strange. We asked for Manhattan again didn’t have the ingredient to make that. The bar was bare and had to show the bartender how and what goes into a drink? Our view was dogs barking in a cement yard storage unit. So it’s not in a great area.

The hotel is close to the highway and was an easy choice when you just need a quick overnight stay on the way to your final destination. Nice pool area, but hardly a hotel I would spend a week's holiday at.

Not happy with the amenities. It is advertised in having a spa and gym. Yet they were both closed for the season. How is that possible??? That was one of the main reasons we booked our stay at this hotel. There was a mini fridge which was supposed to be stocked. Nope. We were told that they changed their policy and so we had to get our water in the hallway using a dispenser.

We stayed at hotel villa medici while visiting family to celebrate a wedding. We had fond memories of the hotel from a previous stay however we ended up very disappointed. The rooms were clean however the beds were uncomfortable with limited space to keep our luggage. We only stayed 3 nights (one of the days we were at the wedding and the other two we planned on staying by the pool and enjoying the sun which was the reason for the choice of this particular hotel). One day we were told there were no life guards from 1-3pm so we couldn’t use the pool and the other day we were told to leave the outside space completely as they had a function on for a wedding they were accommodating. We had paid for the facilities, however were told we weren’t allowed to use them. The indoor pool was also closed as they said it was only opened from September during the winter period, however this as well as the lack of lifeguard and the fact there was a wedding on so we couldn’t use the facilities was not communicated and not evident anywhere on the website. The receptionist was rude and very abrupt and when we asked to speak to the manager to resolve the issues he said he was busy and refused to show face. We waited around for him for 2 hours one day and 1 on the other day and although he was supposed to be there he hid away and let the receptionist deal with the matter at hand, to which she had no power over. The customer service here was very poor and we felt very let down and unwelcome. Between us we had 4 younger children who we had to find other entertainment for and we practically kicked out. only to be allowed in our rooms. If we had just wanted a place to sleep we would’ve booked elsewhere that was cheaper and more hospitable. We shall not be coming here again, although they offered us a stay for 2 people for one night we couldn’t accept that as compensation for a sour end to our lovely holiday, travelling all the way from England, baring in mind there were 9 of us in total. False advertising, bad customer service and a manager who hid away.

Large spaces in the hall. friendly and helpful staff. Rooms with little space but still comfortable. The comforts are the right ones. I recommend the best sink + shower soaps. Really can't use them. I also tried the restaurant. Nice staff and decent cuisine. To conclude, I can say that the value for money is good. I recommend if passing through.

We stayed one night just to be able to relax at the spa for a couple of hours. Closed Turkish bath. Closed salt room. Open the pool with very cold water enough to be able to immerse only the legs. Complaint of everyone present at the spa. People who confirmed that the water was very hot in December, unlike today. Unfortunately, I will never return to this spa and I will certainly not do good publicity. The sauna is open. Friendly staff, good cleaning of the rooms. Receptionist Daniel is the best.
