Staybridge Suites ROCHESTER – MAYO CLINIC AREA by IHG

Breakfast was standard for a hotel at this level. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The suite was very small, could not fit my suitcase into the bedroom. The TVs were huge and right up against the couch and bed, making it difficult to watch.

We stayed one night at the hotel to take the kids swimming for a little get away for their spring break. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice, big and roomy, but one of the 2 bathrooms had dry blood stains on the bathtub tiles and we didn't realize that until after the kids came back from swim and showered. I did let the Manager on duty know. She said she will send maintenance to clean it, but she looked irritated and annoyed that I mentioned it. I did not get a very genuine or sincere response from her or apology. Besides that breakfast was good and coffee was available all day.

Check-in was at 3:00. We arrived at 4:10 and had to wait for our room to be available. We had two vehicles with us and were not informed until check-in that the second vehicle would have to be left at an off-site location five blocks away. The worst part was that the hotel room walls were paper thin. We could hear the actual conversation of the people in the room next to us, and they were not being loud. I’ll spare you the details of the bathroom noises we heard. So unless you want to whisper to have a private conversation, plan to arrive well after check-in time, and only have one vehicle, don’t stay here. Everything else about it was great, which is what makes this experience so frustrating.

We had a great stay with our toddler. The room was the perfect size for our family with room to move around. The hot tub was hot and pool refreshing. The breakfast was plenty and satisfying along with the included donuts. I’d stay at this hotel again.

Rooms were neat and clean. breakfast was very good, but it could have been a little HOTTER. I understand it's hard to keep food hot, but the eggs and sausage were barely warm. I love the idea of the evening social on M-W, a nice little treat!

The kitchen was well equiped, and there is a water and ice machine in every floor. The hotel is in great condition and walking distance to every Mayo Clinic building.

Clean room, wonderful shower. The hot tub was HOT! Which we loved. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again!

Top 10 of all hotels I've ever stayed in. Room was gorgeous and clean, staff was phenomenal! 5 stars!!!
