Stay was ok not bad but not great also, small bits made us realise it wasnt very clean, didnt feel dirty as such but could of been cleaner, used cotten buds left on the seat of the dressing table, major dust behinde the sink, the bedding for the sofa bed the poppers didnt work and half the quilt was hanging out, covers didnt smell very fresh and had blonde hairs on (we are dark) again it wasnt like a filthy place just little things made it felt slightly unclean, the hot tub was very chemical when i got out i had rashes. The restaurant was fully booked i get it i should have pre booked but we arrived at check in early so thought we may have got in, again not the restaurant’s fault, we got take away pizza i expected somthing nice like a stone baked pizza due to it being such a high rated restaurant but at £15 almost for each pizza it tasted like a cheap shop bought, we had no hot water what was frustrating as we have a 1 year old and had to keep him up past his bed time to resolve this, they did resolve it with in half an hour just a boiler issue. Main bed i found very hard and uncomfortable, i get its preferences but we stayed in west middlands safari lodges the night sfter and the beds were sooo comfy, i felt after waking up at the bating house my back was sore. The setting was absolutely gorgeous though and the lodge itself was pleasant. Not sure if i would stay again, perhaps comfier matress on the main bed, cleaner lodges, less chlorine in the hot tub and they should hold some tables back for guests staying in lodges, and i would stay again .

Have stayed 3 times in the last 6 weeks at the baiting house and have loved every minute! The lodges and hot tubs have all been super pleasing, fresh clean, comfortable and the best nights sleep ever!!! Will be a frequent and reattending customer! Could not have asked for more. Thank you for providing this peaceful and beautiful place to relax and recuperate! Mr & Mrs Haddada x

Wow! Beautiful setting, gorgeous lodges equipped with everything we needed for a two night stay. The hot tub was heavenly & the privacy of the lodges was perfect. The Baiting house food was D I V I NE and the service from the staff was faultless. We will be back, thank you!

When we walked in asked if we booked a table. I said yes in 45mins, the barman tried to usher us to a table to order drinks from there and I said we wanted to have a drink outside prior to dining. Asked for a hawkstone larger said it was not on then tried for a mahou off and that was off aswell. Upon booking a week ago for our 7th year wedding anniversary I asked for a bottle of veuve clicquot, our favourite tipple. Barman bought over a bottle of Nicholas Feuillatte turned up opened, nothing said and just left on the table for us to pour. Prior to booking the lady stated there was a reduced menu, totally understandable for a Monday night, but was literally just desserts and starters, give or take a risotto and a pizza, very disappointing. The cheese soufflé was lovely, we have had this previously before. During seated at our table we waited for the staff to serve us and all we could hear was giggling behind the bar. When we finished 8:10pm tonight we just wanted to pay and go. No staff around. So I walked to the bar and paid. Young bar lad was having a pint. Paid with the lady waitress at the bar. She never asked how our foot was or experience ass I would have told them there and then rather leaving this reviews, coming accross as key board warrior! Been 3 times before, only live down the road at Newnham bridge. Food is very good. But not a great evening or experience tonight at all.

Really lovely place to stay. Had a pod with a hot tub. Great accommodation. Comfy bed and clean room. Even had a cork screw! Mid week stay so slightly disappointing menu choice. Also breakfast didn’t start til 8.30 which was difficult being there in business

We stayed here to celebrate our little wedding and loved it. We stayed in a lodge with a hot tub, it was very homey, very clean and had lovely decor. The hot tub was very clean and ready to use upon arrival. The area is very peaceful and quiet which is what we wanted on our stay. The bar is lovely and the staff were very friendly and informative. I would love to stay here again in the future!

Perfect, tranquil getaway
The studio lodge was amazing. Hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and the lodge had everything we needed. Food in the Baiting House was superb, even though the a la carte menu wasn't available on Monday/Tuesday, and breakfast was delicious.
