Property Description
This spacious A-frame cabin style home is the perfect get-away! Tucked away from the craziness of life, this lovely cabin faces the Skagit River with glimpses of Mount Baker through the trees. This roomy yet cozy cabin is excellent for hosting a couple on a romantic get-away to a large group of family and friends gathering together for a fun retreat. It's also a great location as a base camp for some awesome exploration in the surrounding hills of the North Cascades. The cabin has a broad open floor plan, large fully equipped kitchen, plus an upper loft. Two of the bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds and the third bedroom features three twin beds. There are two beautiful baths with walk-in showers. The spacious living room has four comfy couches perfect for lounging and enjoying the peaceful views out the large picture windows. Or you can snuggle in front of the fire with the free-standing propane stove. Out from the living room is a big deck great for barbequing or savoring the fresh country air. In the backyard there is a firepit with a small bundle of firewood provided. If there is work to be done, a small desk is located in the upper loft free of distractions, except the amazing views. There is a hot tub. It's small but perfect for two. (Larger groups will need to take turns.) ***If cleaning is necessary prior to your arrival, the water might not be 102° at time of check-in.*** There is also plenty of parking in the expansive driveway, so be sure to invite your friends. This cabin will surely provide a warm and pleasurable stay! NO NEED TO PACK WATER! Concrete, WA is known for their pristine water. Our water is the best tasting water you'll ever drink! Besides, it's probably the same water you'll be buying in the store. Save yourself the trouble and fill up your bottles at the cabin. The kitchen faucet also has an added filter to remove any possible impurities. The cabin is 5 minutes to town providing you with any needed essentials. There are terrific restaurants, a grocery store, a movie theater, and even an ice cream parlor. You're also at the base of great outdoor adventures! Directly north are Shannon and Baker Lakes. Both lakes offer lots of water fun and terrific hiking. Towering above are Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan providing an amazing backdrop. East of Concrete about 20 miles, you'll enter the vast North Cascades National Park. There are also two beautiful parks about 10 miles in either direction from the cabin with wonderful access to the Skagit River and great play yards for young children. Or you can just hide away and enjoy being surrounded by the beauty. No matter your reason for visiting, I'm sure you'll love it here! *The upper loft is not safe for young children unattended. We ask that young children are not allowed upstairs without supervision. A child gate is provided to use at the bottom of the stairs to prevent children from going upstairs alone. PET FREE CABIN. I have worked hard to keep this cabin clean and allergen free. No pets are allowed, no exceptions. There is no "pet fee." If you bring a pet into the cabin, you will be charged an additional day rental and an hourly cleaning rate to allow for extra cleaning. If you are traveling with pets, I can refer you to a cabin just down the road that caters to those traveling with pets.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Children not allowed upstairs, baby gate provided..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking allowed: in designated areas.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.
