Second time staying at Mountain Lake Lodge and it didn’t disappoint. Quiet, clean and staff was great. About 45 min from glacier close to kalispell was perfect for our travel plans.

Location outstanding! Thermostat on heater in bedroom did not work. Woke in the middle of the night sweating. Thermostat and control for gas fireplace did not work. So I wore a sweater. Please checkout your room. I checked in and did not back until later.

From the moment Laura at the front desk gave us home baked cookies made on the premises when we checked in we felt at home. Reasonably priced thru ******* and the views and grounds were beautiful. The restaurant on site makes a real wood oven pizza that was delicious. Quiche at breakfast in lobby was homemade and on the house with local coffee.

I really like the atmosphere. It was quiet and friendly and there was peaceful music playing in the lobby. There are patios or balconies for each room and you can walk out your door to a nice lawn and view. Not like the big chain hotels where you are stuck in a room where you can look out at a parking lot and have to go through long hallways and usually an elevator to sit in a lobby.

Great Stay!
Beautiful rooms. Great staff and we enjoyed our meal at Riley‘s restaurant which is conveniently located in the hotel. Excellent stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Great views!
I will definitely return to this Lodge as the views from most of the rooms were great. Breakfast was above average for a Continental Breakfast as there were some fresh fruit and baked options in addition to the typical wrapped breakfast bars and biscuits.

Location has very nice views and is easily accessible. Staff was professional and friendly.
The facilities are well maintained, especially for its age. The only exception was the noisy plumbing. Squeaky sounds from the other rooms as the shower and toilets were used. That is the only reason I could not give a 5 star.
