Dinner was Western food, but the Oita beef stew in red wine was very delicious. The other dishes were also beautifully presented and I was satisfied. The bread that came out for dinner was freshly baked, warm and very delicious. 
Japanese food looks very delicious, but if I stay next time, I would like to try Western food again.
We also enjoyed a full course of local beer, red wine, and white wine.
A coffee grinder and dripper are provided in your room so you can make your own coffee. I feel healed when I spin the mill. 
The large public bath is a carbonated spring with a high iron content, but I was able to take a very pleasant bath. There is no sauna, but I am very satisfied. The weather wasn't great this time, but if you stay overnight on a clear day, I think you'll be able to see the Milky Way.
