"Carabao Island is a great place to explore. Having this kind of resort is also a good thing, they have a lot of potential. We tried the dome tent for the first time and it wasn’t so bad but not ideal during day time as it can get extremely hot inside. The beach is amazing and calm."

"I made the huge mistake to trust their official website and I discovered (too late) that: 1) the credit card was not just asked as guarantee. Rather, it was promptly charged for 100% of the amount (the website did not say that the room rate was intended as PREPAID but that the reservation could be cancelled without penalties up to some days before the expected check-in date). 2) When I cancelled the reservation (around 10th May 2024) it took about ONE WEEK to get the email from the hotel saying that the refund was processed and now, almost ONE MONTH AFTER THAT EMAIL I did not see any refund on my credit card yet. I already wrote to the hotel various times to get the ARN CODE, that would allow MY bank to investigate what happened to the refund "officially" disposed around one month ago and the hotel did NOT provide it, so far. Last email did not even get an (useless) answer. As a potential customer, for the cancellation I have been simply IGNORED. It is very sad to suffer such an unfair behaviour from a 4 star resort. I would not repeat the mistake to trust their website and I am writing this review only to help others not to do my same mistake, if TripAdvisor permits. If TripAdvisor does not permit, at least I tried to help others and I will not perform a new, useless, attempt. Now you know how it works. All the best."

Because it takes a little extra effort to reach this paradise, it naturally filters the crowd. You’ll find that the types of tourists who make it here are a specific kind of people—adventurous, respectful, and like-minded travelers who value authenticity over mass tourism. Final Verdict Footprints Resort is a rare find. Between the kindness of Owen, Angie, and the kids, the top-tier service from the staff, and the serene atmosphere, it was an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend this place enough!"

"The resort is located on the opposite side of the island from the Port of Said, but it's only like a 15 minute ride. It's a quiet and peaceful place with a good bar and restaurant with excellent food. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. This is a perfect place for a rest with a beautiful sunset. We also rented a scooter there and explored the island."

"What to say Pili Beach Resort was a wonderful discovery in a corner of the island of Tablas is this beautiful resort where we in 8 people 4 adults with 4 children stayed for a week at Christmas, the children immediately felt at home and so did we, both Jan and his wife super people who made us feel at ease and what to say about all their staff, super nice where they never made us miss anything, after we left for Boracay the children already missed the place and especially the super mango shakes 🤣 that they ordered every day, thanks to all of you for making us spend a magnificent week! "My husband and I were staying on Romblon, Romblon and decided to book scuba diving with Fun Divers on Alad Island as we had heard so much great stuff about their service and responsible tourism values (like not touching corals, packing out what you pack in…). My husband took his PADI Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air certificates and I took an Introductory class and went snorkeling. The training by Charro was absolutely OUTSTANDING. So clear, so encouraging, and so fun! We felt very lucky that all of the dives and snorkeling outings were personalized. We weren’t on a big boat full of multiple divers. The service was first class. I even had someone putting on my flippers for me! Fun Divers did pick us up on Romblon island which made things super easy for us. We were grateful that no one smoked on the boat while we were there, which is not always the case with some providers. I have allergies to the smoke so really appreciated the gesture. Hands down we would book with Romblon Fun Divers again."
