Ocean’s Edge Resort

"The sleep quality here is guaranteed to be comfortable—it's quiet, relaxing & you are literally immersed in nature, with oceanfront views and bird sounds as well. As for the food and drinks, they’re minimal, but I didn’t mind since I'm not a foodie and I have an allergy to alcohol. My focus was on enjoying the scenery, exploring the island, land tour, snorkeling & not staying in the hotel all day or indulging myself in amenities. It’s a bit of a logistical challenge being on an island, & it’s understandable. I wasn’t expecting everything to be the same as a typical or luxurious hotel, per se. I even brought my own dental kit and hairdryer. Minor issues includes no hand soap & dental kit, but the staff were quick to provide after I requested. Another small issue was the door lock, was tricky to open. I arrived earlier than the usual check-in time so I understand that the room wasn’t ready. Is it worth it? You get what you pay for, so yes, it’s worth it! You get the view, a spacious-clean bathroom, and a large room. As an accounting graduate, I tend to consider value before paying for anything, and I felt this stay was well worth it. An entire cabana was mine. It’s cheap compared to the original price. The staff, especially Jeffrey and Ciara, were incredibly kind and easy to talk to. They even surprised me with a delicious birthday cake courtesy of Chef Ronnie which was so nice. And Chef Melvin for the best garlic chicken I’ve ever tasted—seriously! It feels like home. Can’t wait to come back in March ! 🤞 The property is huge and literally at the edge of the ocean. it requires regular maintenance—something the resort/hotel lacks. I suggest a couple of sunbeds at the beach as well. The location is isolated and quite far from Poblacion, but it has beautiful beaches nearby if you wish to explore, along with restaurants. There are several villas and cabanas to choose from. You can swim or go snorkeling by the beach. So, if you're not picky or high-maintenance and are simply looking for a relaxing night's sleep after a tiring land tour or water activity, I highly recommend this place for you."

Horizon Hotel Romblon

"We stayed in this hotel for six days and five nights and were very satisfied with it. It was our first time to visit Romblon Island and we came across this accommodation online. It's definitely one of the best hotels in Romblon. The rooms are air-conditioned, spacious, neat and cozy, with good WIFI connection and en suite bath and shower room. The hotel also has a spa, a small gym, a karaoke room, a café restaurant, a function room, etc., but I think its best feature is its rooftop infinity swimming pool and restaurant. The pool is quite small, but its location offers you a breathtaking view of Romblon Bay below and of some distant islands. Dining on the rooftop is also very relaxing. Food selection is good. The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. Everything is really well with this accommodation. There's just a couple of difficulties with this place. First, it's located up a hill and taking a tricycle or a motorcycle is necessary to reach it (unless you're into uphill trekking). However, transportation can be arranged with the hotel itself. Second, the hotel also has no elevator and coming to the rooms located on the lower levels can be a big challenge to some. At any rate, the town proper is just a few minutes away, as well as the beach (particularly the famous Bonbon Beach with a lovely sandbar). Highly recommended!"

The Three P Beach Resort & Dive Center

"I had a wonderful experience at Three P Resort! The macro diving was 2nd to none and a special shout out to Divemaster and guide Enzo! I’ve rarely seen a dive guide so aggressively seek out the macro critters first a diver! You made a very good experience GREAT! Salamat po! David the owner and operator of the resort was very flexible and helpful with my stay as well as was everyone there! Top notch dive resort! I HIGHLY recommend you stay with Three P Resort and Dive Shop when you come to Romblon to experience the amazing diving! I will be back. Thanks!"

El Krimphoff Resort

"The 3P dive shop next door was fully booked, so the owner recommended this place. However, I strongly advise against staying here if you can book directly from the shop. Putting aside the huge difference in accommodation compared to 3P, and the fact that the diving isn't particularly demanding, walking back between dives every day is incredibly uncomfortable. Plus, the water is uncomfortably cold. The room is new, but it's very noisy by the roadside, making it difficult to sleep well. From 7 AM onwards, you're constantly bombarded by cars on the main road. There's no hairdryer! There's practically no service. The only advantage is that the room is cleaned daily."

The Beach House Carabao Island

"Having visited Boracay 24 years ago and loved it, I thought when I finally made it back, I had to find out for myself the ‘secret’ that some of my serious traveling friends have been talking about over recent years. Carabao Island reminds me of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan in the 90’s and Holbox 10 years ago. I’m so glad we came now. Absolute paradise with just the right amount of development and sophistication. Which leads me to ‘The Beach House’! Firstly we’ve just extended our stay. Location, facilities, staff, food and ambience all absolutely superb. Their drinks selection is fantastic, definitely try their house wine selection. It’s so hard to find anything that offers everything The Beach House does, in such an unspoilt and undeveloped paradise location. Half of me doesn’t want to write this as I want it the same when I come again next year. But the owners and staff of this venue truly deserve a massive shout out. Thank you to all of you, especially Hannah and David! See you next year. I can’t wait."

"The place itself is paradise. The food is good, price is affordable and reasonable. The hosts, Jan and Liezel are very accommodating, the resort staff are.friendly and very attentive to our needs. They became our family when we left the place. Shout out to Ate Rhea the best chef who taught me how to make her super yummy herself cake, to Bebe the charming attendantand ate jurie, for preparing the Jimmy buko halo halo and for satisfying the cravings for fresh sea orchid. The best thing is the unli alkaline water that they provide to their guest. The villa where we stayed is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable!. I will definitely comeback with my friends. I highly recommend Pili Beach Resort for a relaxing "
