"It is very clean and cozy. The receptionist is very nice and accommodating. The wi-fi is also fast and you can even stream netflix on their tv. They have a motor cycle that you can rent for 24 hrs for an affordable price. It is also near downtown, about 15mins walk depending on your pace."

"We stayed in this hotel for six days and five nights and were very satisfied with it. It was our first time to visit Romblon Island and we came across this accommodation online. It's definitely one of the best hotels in Romblon. The rooms are air-conditioned, spacious, neat and cozy, with good WIFI connection and en suite bath and shower room. The hotel also has a spa, a small gym, a karaoke room, a café restaurant, a function room, etc., but I think its best feature is its rooftop infinity swimming pool and restaurant. The pool is quite small, but its location offers you a breathtaking view of Romblon Bay below and of some distant islands. Dining on the rooftop is also very relaxing. Food selection is good. The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. Everything is really well with this accommodation. There's just a couple of difficulties with this place. First, it's located up a hill and taking a tricycle or a motorcycle is necessary to reach it (unless you're into uphill trekking). However, transportation can be arranged with the hotel itself. Second, the hotel also has no elevator and coming to the rooms located on the lower levels can be a big challenge to some. At any rate, the town proper is just a few minutes away, as well as the beach (particularly the famous Bonbon Beach with a lovely sandbar). Highly recommended!"

"Carabao Island is a great place to explore. Having this kind of resort is also a good thing, they have a lot of potential. We tried the dome tent for the first time and it wasn’t so bad but not ideal during day time as it can get extremely hot inside. The beach is amazing and calm."

"If you want to relax, unwind and take an adventure out of the regular and ordinary places, This is the place to go.. the travel to Tablas is already an adventure, but enjoy the beauty of the travel and Tablas is an unspoiled island with lots of nature. Once on the resort expect the Filipino hospitality and a welcoming feeling.. Super friendly staff, we joked around with them quite alot.. the owners are friendly and welcoming and we even were invited to the owners birthday party. We went there for some diving as the resort also has a diveshop. The dives are great and the corals are beautiful.. I will for sure return for some more exploration dives.. "

"The 3P dive shop next door was fully booked, so the owner recommended this place. However, I strongly advise against staying here if you can book directly from the shop. Putting aside the huge difference in accommodation compared to 3P, and the fact that the diving isn't particularly demanding, walking back between dives every day is incredibly uncomfortable. Plus, the water is uncomfortably cold. The room is new, but it's very noisy by the roadside, making it difficult to sleep well. From 7 AM onwards, you're constantly bombarded by cars on the main road. There's no hairdryer! There's practically no service. The only advantage is that the room is cleaned daily."

"Having visited Boracay 30 years ago, we went back with trepidation to see if it still had some of that magic. Sadly it was now too overdeveloped for us and looking for alternatives, we came across Carabao Island. The journey there is a ferry from Caticlan, then a tuk tuk from the port. There are boats direct to Lanas beach 3 times a week and probably worth fitting your trip around as it makes it easier. As soon as we got to the Beach House, we knew we'd found the relaxed Borocay vibe from 30 years ago. We had a warm welcome from the staff and owner David, then moved into our room. The room was well appointed, immaculately clean, with very good aircon and comfy bed. Also had nice little touches like dressing gowns. The location is stunning, looking out onto a white beach, with good snorkeling on the reef 30m off shore. The food is great and reasonably priced as are the drinks. They also have good red wine, which we had only found in 1 other place in our travels in the Philippines! We had a few entertaining evenings chatting with David, the owner, over a glass or two of it! The island is currently in the "hidden gem" status. I don't think it will become over developed any time soon, but get in there before it changes!"
