The Hive Hotel

Clean and big enough, with king size bed, located near Roma Termini and not far always from shopping center.

Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. The hotel is near the train station, and easy to reach, especially for travelers arriving by train. The hotel is clean and the best hotel experience I had in Italy. The design of the room was particularly noteworthy, with interesting touches that added to its charm. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the honey-scented shampoo and other amenities, which enhanced the overall experience of my stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I highly recommend The Hive to fellow travelers seeking a convenient base for their adventures in Rome.

Location was great. Overall experience was what you would expect for the price you pay. However, they don’t provide complementary bottle water which was slightly unexpected for me. Saw most customers buying bottled water outside instead.

Hotel was ok. Breakfast buffet was nice. Service was average, not the most helpful or polite reception and the fact that you had to pay extra to use the gym is crazy. Location is ok about 1km from the colosseum and there are some good restaurants nearby.

The room is pretty spacious, it only requires 30mins walk to most of the tourist spots and there are plenty wonderful restaurants nearby. It takes only 10mins to go to Roma termini which is convenient!
