I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Shangri-La Roma by Omnia Hotels. The location is absolutely perfect – close to the EUR district and well connected to the rest of Rome, making it easy to reach both the historic center and business areas. The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay very relaxing after long days out exploring the city. The breakfast was another highlight: rich, varied, and delicious, offering both sweet and savory options to satisfy every taste. A great way to start the day! Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Rome!

The hotel is a 20-30 minute taxi ride from the airport and a few bus stops away from the nearest subway station. On my first night, I arrived late and wasn't sure how to take the bus from the subway station, so I ended up taking an Uber. It's actually very convenient; the bus stop is right outside the subway exit, no stairs needed. Different bus routes go to the hotel, some are just one stop away. Breakfast consists of bread, various spreads, and fruit. My room had a small balcony and was much larger than the rooms I stayed in Florence. I even ran into a Hainan Airlines crew staying at the same hotel. To get to the Colosseum, you can take bus routes 709, 070, or 700 to the subway station, then transfer to the M line which takes you directly to the Colosseum station.

We were happy but then later in the morning while I was brushing my teeth, the water was not running …. I could not shower for 3 hours till we claim for a new room …first they refuse to give us a new room till we said we will tell in the public…then they changed to worse rooms… no phone connected, no hot coffee, no hot tea, no water….and old room till we

Excellent location with convenient parking. The hotel facilities are mostly complete, and the overall layout is elegant and unique. The hygiene is good, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great!

The location is quite remote, and the staff lacked professionalism. The room was poorly equipped, missing basic amenities like a kettle, drinking glasses, and tea bags. We had to ask for these items multiple times before they were eventually provided.

The facilities were pretty basic. Cleanliness was acceptable. The overall environment was just okay, and the service was mediocre as well.

Great Stay with Helpful and Patient Staff I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and patient throughout my stay, always willing to assist with anything I needed. Despite my limited language skills, communication was smooth and there was hardly any language barrier. Their professionalism and friendliness made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

Seeing the China Eastern Airlines flight attendants gave me a sense of being back home. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own toothpaste and water.
