Unicum Vite

we were looking forward to exploring Rome, which in itself was a great experience. the hotel was not as impressive, poor cleaning, a lot of noise, unstaffed and difficult to get in touch with personnel. Woke up several times in the night by different sounds both outside and inside, but it was a cheap hotel, would pay a little extra for a better hotel next time.

It was perfect und directly in the city. We could go home several times a day. I can really recommend staying at Unicum Vite! It’s really small and has just four rooms. Cleaning products and stuff like that was available! It’s definitely worth the „price“!

Once we found the place and got into it, the rooms were nice, but finding the place and communication was very poor. This accommodation is actually a flat which has been turned into a few hotel rooms and it is within a large building with no labelling to say it is within here, we happened to be stopped on the street by a man wanting to help as we looked so lost and he told us it was inside this building. We then received a whatsapp message with info on where our keys were, collected them, and they did not work. We messaged and rang the host and was ignored then bombarded with rude messages saying the keys not work it was our fault and that she was not willing to come and help us. We did not receive help until another couple of guests were also stuck outside with us and we managed to get help. We then weren’t given any other keys and told ‘they now will work’ which was incorrect and we got locked out again later in the evening. We were told the whatsapp messaging was available for help when needed, but we were ignored all evening and left to try and wait for other guests to come back to the flat to let us in. Very unhappy with the host leaving 2 young girls on a street of italy with no help getting into the flat and ignoring all our messages. The room itself was nice and a very good location but customer service and information and communication was very poor
