Old hotel Over used I will not repeat it again

Good location amenities is bad

Clean room, friendly staff, bed was a little hard. A+

The hotel's location is excellent, allowing me to explore the ancient city of Rome on foot. The breakfast was quite generous and highly recommended. The staff were all very welcoming and polite. The only downside was that they didn't provide water on our second night.

The room was very close to the Colosseum, about a 5-minute drive away, and there were many tourists walking there. The room was clean and tidy, and the water temperature was just right. The room was new, and it was obvious that it was a newly renovated hotel.

The air conditioner in the room was blowing towards my head, which was very uncomfortable. It caused my throat to become inflamed and I couldn't swallow my saliva due to the pain.

The room was nice and tidy, but the surrounding streets were noisy at night, and we paid 30 euros of city tax at the front desk when we checked in. When we checked out, the front desk asked us to pay another 30 euros of city tax. We said that when we checked in After paying, the front desk categorically said that they only charge the city tax after checking out, which is equivalent to a city tax of 60 euros (twice the normal city tax!) for two people and two nights in a four-star hotel. I don’t know. Whether they made a mistake or deliberately overcharged, please consider carefully!
