Hotel della Torre Argentina in Rome is a cool place to stay in the middle of everything. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have created here. Good overall experience every time I have been here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is very reasonably priced with an ideal location for exploring Rome. We were three friends travelling and we each had a single room. The rooms were very small and I didn't have much of a view, but they were clean and nicely decorated with good bathrooms. I would have liked an electric outlet next to the bed. The common areas of the hotel are pleasant. There is a rooftop terrace with great views, but it is relatively small so it feels a little cramped already with 10 persons up there. Breakfast is excellent; I especially liked the grilled vegetables. We really appreciated the hotel staff, everyone we met was really nice and helpful.

We had stayed at this hotel years ago and when my daughter and I were planning a trip I came across it again. I was a bit worried it wouldn't hold up after 20yrs but at the rate they were offering, I decided to give it a chance- so happy I did. Our double room was very clean and bright with a king size bed and modern bathroom. All the rooms I saw being cleaned looked similar. Our room faced the side street and was very quiet. The hotel also did daily cleaning which was nice, many hotels over the past couple of years have stopped. They seem to be renovating various parts of the hotel so not sure if some haven't been renovated. The breakfast was so varied, and I loved that they served it till 11, we are not morning people. I would def. stay here again. We have stayed at various hotels in the interim years at higher price points but this hotel is a really good value for location, serviced, and charm.

Do not stay here. Under new management. I was double charged for our 3 night stay. I tried several times to correct on the phone, but was told to email. I've emailed every month and I got one response that did not fix my problem. Still not corrected. We have stayed here several times over the years, but will never stay here again.

The hotel felt very outdated. The room was fine. Breakfast was okay. Only big disappointments were I arrived late and there was someone checking in ahead of me, there was a problem with her booking at it took two members of staff over 20 mins to sort it out. They told me to wait on their sofa while they did, which was fine but started the stay on a frustrating note. The second was that on the day I left there was a strike so no public transport and the hotel told me that their taxi service was the best way to go. They told me the price so I asked them to book it for later that afternoon. When I came back from my day out it was not booked and there was a different person on the reception desk who said it was 3 x the price of the guy that morning. (So i just got a white one on the street). It seemed like they were trying to take extra money for themselves.

The staff from the reception is perfect, especially francesco (not sure about the name) and the night auditor who speak turkish. They were very helpful when we asked some assistance. The room was great, the staff gave us the room we wanted. The only problem was the noise from the street, but I think it is because that is an old beautiful building.

Very friendly and prompted staff, how gave us tips to visit the city. The room was vary spacious, with a king size bed and private bathroom. The highlight was the breakfast, who was very complete! Also, the rooftop terrace was nice, although the weather was rainy.

We spent a wonderful three days in Rome. The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked everywhere only on foot. The hotel staff is very polite and attentive. Breakfasts are quite plentiful for Italy, omelets, bacon, cheeses, sausages, bruschettas, vegetables, fruits, pastries. Very good coffee. The only drawback is that the rooms require repair, but it did not cause us any discomfort. I think we would come back here again.

The Hotel has an excellent location that allowed us to walk to all the city attractions. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was good and the coffee was very good. The downside of having a city centre location is that we suffered from the traffic noise as the soundproofing is not good at all, so if you are a light sleeper try to make sure you are not in a room overlooking the main road. The furniture in the rooms is pretty dated and the hotel could do with a general refurbishment. However, It is not too often that all of the staff in a hotel make me feel like a valued guest, so due to the location and the staff, I would stay there again.
