Hostel Trastevere

Great location, but serious issues with cleanliness and room condition. Pros: The hostel is located in a very convenient area in Rome, right next to the main station with easy access to buses and trams. The neighborhood felt safe and pleasant. Initially, due to overbooking, I was placed in a different room, but the staff provided breakfast as compensation, which was a fair resolution at first. Cons: The real problems started when I moved to my assigned room for the second night: Cleanliness: I found a dusty sock left between the beds, which shows that the room was not properly cleaned before my arrival. Safety & Facilities: There were no lockers in the room, and even the drawers lacked locks. As a solo traveler in a hostel, this is a major security concern. Maintenance: The room was in poor condition overall. One of the electrical sockets was broken, and the furniture (beds, desk, drawers) was heavily worn out and scuffed. Service: When I reported these issues through Trip.com, the hostel refused any refund. The next morning, the receptionist offered another free breakfast and claimed they would have solved it if I had come to them directly instead of contacting support. I highly doubt this, as the room's poor state seems to be a permanent issue that they simply ignore.

It was a great stay there as a solo traveler. The staffs were pretty friendly. Unlike the other hostel, they don't have any access card but their rooms and washroom are all have password and they will give you the password written in a paper.

Just want to say facility is old and room have very bad smell hope hostel can improve the basic level of Hygienic

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Its location is quite good. It takes about ten minutes by bus to reach the central tourist area. Just a minute's walk away is a supermarket. Shopping is very convenient there. But it should close at 8:30 p.m., if I remember correctly. The room was very large, and it was one of the few independent-bed hotels that I had stayed in. The front desk service was excellent. I don't know about the conditions of other rooms, but the door of the toilet in my room couldn't be locked properly; fortunately, it could still be closed. The bathroom had no hooks and the drainage was a bit blocked. If these two issues were improved, the overall accommodation experience would be perfect. Overall, it is worth recommending.
