Rompin Rainforest Lodge
"Great food and enjoy nature rainforest! Experienced good services & activities!"
Berjaya Tioman Resort
"Anything is ok…👍👍 Swimming pools is clean and safe Food tastes is good"
Villea Rompin Resort & Golf
"Hotel room is dated. Room size is big but shower area needs improvement. No toiletries provided. Hand soap and hand towels not provided. When shower, toilet floor gets wet as no shower door is installed hence wash basin and toilet areas become wet. Breakfast is average but sufficient to keep you full."
Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort
"I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed. After spending one night sleeping there, both of us woke up with numerous red rashes on our bodies. This raises concerns about the hygiene standards of the bedding and mattress. I hope the management will take this issue seriously and improve housekeeping standards."
Aman Tioman Beach Resort
"Very good experience, good services from front desk. Room nearby lobby which is friendly arrangement for those have kids and elders. Good location, less than 5 minutes walking distance from jetty."
Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Tioman Island- All Inclusive Package
"Nice mountain & sea view, sunset is beautiful as well. Room is clean, however, Facilities is bit old, food is ok but not many choices. Anyway, overall is good and it’s excellent value."
Rompin Beach Resorts
"Good place to chill, quiet and nice big swimming pool. Bed, mattress cover sheet and blanket are dirty. Breakfast provided are average."
Japamala Resort by Samadhi – Age 12 and Above Only
"We chose Japamala Tioman for our wedding anniversary and this boutique resort did not disappoint. Service was impeccable from the time we were picked up at the ferry terminal at Kampung Genting until the time we left. Kudos to the manger Kenny and his team for their hospitality in making our anniversary memorable. Food was in general above average (dessert was fantastic) and some dishes were a bit salty as we don’t consume too salty food in our diet. We gave feedback and to our surprise the staff took it seriously as our subsequent dishes served weren’t as salty. The rooms are clean and the sea view fantastic, allowing us to take in the magnificent sunset views every evening. Not much to do, as this resort is more for guest to disconnect. Hiking to Batu Permata and to Kampung Genting was doable. Canoeing and snorkelling by the resort was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Thanks Japamala!"
Dumba Bay Tioman
"not "luxury" but so new and cosy that seems perfect. probably would've be better if they have flippers for a snorkeling tour, but all the same is ok. not too much amenities, but consequently quiet. walking distance to jetty. what else? thanks."

Paya Debloc Village
"The room is small but clean and tidy"
Melina Beach Resort
"What we liked! This resort is secluded and has its own charm. It becomes a cozy comfortable home away from everything else. It is mainly connected from the sea - guests check in and out from the sea! The common area is wonderful and gives a community feeling all through the day where you get to see all the other guests in proximity. Most common facilities are there - restaurant, bar, free coffee and tea facilities (24 hrs.), toilets, deck, access to the beach, sea sports desk and the reception. Everything's there. Besides the common area are only rooms not more than 50 meters away. So, overall, the close world charm of this resort cut off from the rest of the world gave us a unique experience. Then the Tioman sea water - turquoise green and clear, beach calm and the water inviting. Sun beds and a swing on the beach which is covered by this huge tree which gives it ample shade. A volley ball court. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They add to the charm of the resort. They are always around, always smiling and always ready to serve. When you arrive at the hotel on the resort boat (they pick you up from the nearest jetty, which is Genting), the staff are there to welcome you at the beach. When you check out, they are waving you goodbye till you can no longer see them! This enables you to have a special bond with the staff there even if you stay for just 2 nights. They offer sea sports activities like kayaking, island hopping, snorkeling, etc. which we did not avail. We drove down from KL. It takes 5 hours to reach Tanjung Gemok jetty. Then we waited for 1 hour at the jetty to take the ferry and it took 2 hours to reach Tioman. At Tioman there are various stops, and you must get off at Genting Jetty, where you board yet another boat provided by the resort to finally reach the resort. Total time - approximately 8.5 hours! Same thing while going back. But Tioman Island is worth it because of the quality of the beaches and the lovely sea water. It is quite heavenly. What we didn't like! We were in a room named Macaque. It had a queen bed and 2 bunk beds, good enough for our family of 4. But this room doesn't face the sea! We noticed there are other rooms which face the sea and can have a lovely view. So, please ensure that you check with the hotel if you want a sea-facing room. The bathroom heater was not very efficient, so hot water wasn't adequate. No handwash provided at the basin. There were no chairs provided on the balcony. The housekeeping was very basic. They just clean the bathroom and mop the room. We saw that soiled glasses were not cleared. Towels were left as it is. Beds were not cleaned - we were hoping that the little bit of sand which comes along on the bed would be brushed off by them. The food available at the restaurant is very average. Right from breakfast, the choice is so limited. Breakfast looks the same every day. Looking at the menu you just wonder what to have for the next meal. Since the price of food is cos"
Papaya Resort
"Room was clean. Location was good. It's only a 5 mins walk to restaurants, dive shops and convenience stores. Papaya Resort does not provide transport to/from the jetty but transport arrangements can be made with Cheers Chalet located just opposite the resort."
Juara Beach Resort
"the villa is good and clean with minimal things like fridge, water boiler and and mugs with coffee as well. the staff are very friendly and approachable. the beach front is good for kids. fine sand and the ground level is even so not to worry with kids. the servewares can be cleaner and wash thoroughly. the wifi signal is very helpful to those guests with work integration at the cafe. the salted squid is very good"
Beach Shack Chalet
"I loved this place. While rustic, the room and shower are decent and functional. I especially loved the hammock on the balcony and spent too much time lazing on it. With the amazing sea view and breeze, and very laid back vibes, it's really hard not to. No need to spend time in the room. Amazing and accommodating hosts; they try their best. We're very appreciative. Thank you, guys!! We got the air con room and did not get mosquitoes. Yes, walls are thin, so no hanky panky.. ;p Yes, there was loud music from an open bar at the other end of the chalet. We managed to sleep through the night regardless. The loud waves drowned most of the sound. Will defo come back here if we're heading this area again. Some tips: 1. Do bring bathroom slippers/flip flops for comfort 2. Do bring a hanging toiletries case as there is no place to put your toiletries 3. While I ended up not needing them, I still brought mosquito coils with me"

HOTEL KONG JING
"for simple stay is ok…. Dust alot… need to inprove…. Others ok…."
1511 Coconut Grove
"We recently stayed here for five nights. The garden is very beautiful and the food at the restaurant was good. In the photos it looks like the perfect picture. Unfortunately it wasn't. We spent the night in rooms 113 and 114. There you face the storage area, but we didn't think that was an issue. However, on the other side of the fence there is a generator running day and night. That sounds like a truck idling. And around 10:30 PM he makes even more noise. We could not enjoy the balcony because of the noise. Because we were traveling with small children, we couldn't leave the house at night, so we were forced to sit in our room on the bed. But even there you hear the generator all the time. You never hear any silence. So don't count on the peaceful tranquility that the photos radiate, at least not if you sleep in the same corner as us. A staff member said that it is the generator of the hotel next to us. They were working on something to muffle the sound. Unfortunately we didn't notice anything about that. We believe that Coconut Grove could have informed us in advance about the noise pollution. Because this gave us a headache and it ruined the location. "
Juara Ocean Chalet
"Great quite and beautiful location. May is the best, so comfy and welcoming, really involved in guests. The room is spacious and all you need is here. For sure the best place for those who come to wander in jungles and swim. We really loved the atmosphere. Thank you. All the best to you and your family, May!"
Coral Reef Holidays
"Overall good experience, friendly staff. The breakfast is simple and can improve to have more variety."
Juara Mutiara Resort
"We booked 3 chalet units at Juara Mutiara Resort, with 2 guests per chalet. Overall, it was worth the price. The resort is very close to the beach and nearby convenience shops, making it very convenient. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the rooms do not come with hairdryers. Out of the 3 rooms we booked, one of the rooms where my uncle and cousin stayed had quite a lot of ants, which was shocking when they first saw it. I think it may be due to the chalet materials and the fact that the chalet is quite old. Thankfully, the staff were kind enough to arrange another newer room for them. The resort is also great for activities like kayaking and scuba diving, and the water here is super clean and beautiful."
Impian Inn
"The place is special coz it represents the beauty of Malaysia kampung in an island, surrounds by nature off course, the staffs here very helpful and friendly and you can feel their sincerity and warm personality. The food here at IMPIAN Inn marvelous and superb ....u definitely will enjoy the food. U must try their Pizza ..... yummy 😋 The resort also provide good package and worth for your money. A PLACE TO enjoy the beauty of the nature AND JUST TO REST N RELAX...... I ENJOY the stay with my hubby🥰 and can't wait to go next trip this time I am going to bring all of kids along.
