"I came here because of Detective Conan, and the hotel's location is just incredible – facing the sea, absolutely stunning! However, since the hotel is in a small town, taking the bus during peak season can be really inconvenient. You can contact the hotel to arrange a taxi, but most local drivers don't speak English. There are many great places to eat in town, but they tend to close early. The hotel's onsen is very comfortable; soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sea is a wonderful experience. The hotel is also very close to Engetsu Island, where you can watch the sunset 🌄 – it's truly amazing and perfect for photos! The only drawback is that the facilities are a bit old, probably due to its long history!"

"Summary: 1. Airport transfer to Shirahama needs to be booked in advance via email. 2. The hotel is excellent and newly renovated. The hot springs are fantastic. 3. Transportation is inconvenient, but there's a shuttle service to Shirarahama Beach. 4. It's about a 15-20 minute walk downhill to a convenience store. The distance isn't actually that far."

"The sea view room was fantastic, with top-notch views and scenery. The room itself was incredibly spacious; I've never stayed in such a large hotel room in Japan. The toilet, sink, and shower were all separated, which was great. Both the onsen (hot spring) and the buffet are definitely worth experiencing. Plus, it's not far from Senjojiki and Shirarahama Beach attractions."

"During the Chinese New Year, the price was just over a thousand, and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. The room I booked this time came with a bathroom, and it was so comfortable to have yogurt and a hot bath when I returned in the evening. You can take a bus from the station to the hotel. I was lucky to get on a slow bus, which served as a sightseeing bus, and I even saw Round Moon Island at sunset in the evening. It's quite a walk from the bus stop to the hotel, so if you're pulling luggage and aren't in good physical shape, I recommend taking a taxi. The hotel front desk can help you call a taxi. When leaving, I specifically asked the driver (a kind older gentleman) to pass by Round Moon Island again and stop for ten minutes. If you're sensitive to noise when sleeping at night, you can call the service center to have the water flow turned off."

"I had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shirahama for a relaxing getaway. First off, the location is fantastic. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and after taking bus #12 from Shirahama JR Station, you get off directly at the hotel. The hotel staff are very welcoming and were at the entrance to help with luggage – super friendly! Across the street from the hotel is Shirarahama Beach, which is stunning whether it's cloudy or sunny. The white sand paired with the blue ocean is a real treat for the eyes. Shirahama is very quiet at night, and shops close early, but within a five-minute walk, there's a FamilyMart, Lawson, and a 24-hour supermarket. So, if you need snacks or drinks, these are great options. The hotel also has a microwave on the first floor for heating food. You can even buy fireworks at the supermarket to enjoy on the beach. Room: The room was very spacious with plenty of space and directly faced the beach. During my two-day stay, I spent time just relaxing in the room, watching the sunset, observing people on the beach, or heading downstairs to cross the road and lie on the beach or play in the water. It was incredibly relaxing for both my mind and body. The room had both a bathtub and a shower. The bathtub was right next to the balcony, so you could soak while enjoying the view. The hotel also has indoor hot springs, but unfortunately, I couldn't use them. Service: Most of the staff were middle-aged men and women, very kind and gentle. There was also a Chinese-speaking girl with a particularly soft voice who always greeted me with a smile. The service was excellent. Although breakfast was the same every day, it tasted quite good. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose Sanrakuso again if I come back to Shirahama."

"It is recommended to drive by yourself in Baibin. The hotel is very close to Baibin's 3 large scenic spots (Yuanyue Island, Qiandile, and Three-Division Wall), and it takes a few minutes to ten minutes to drive to a scene. Hotel room was clean, we stayed Japanese style, including meals, dinner, breakfast delicious, staff friendly."

"The view is stunning, but taking the bus to Oura Station means you have to drag your suitcases up a bit, or catch the 6:00 PM shuttle bus from Shirahama Station. It's worth checking the shuttle bus schedule beforehand; the last one seems to be around 5:00 PM. The bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but the other services are good. With fewer Chinese tourists, it's mostly Japanese families with children. The indoor pool is a bit small, mostly occupied by the children. The breakfast was okay and filling, a typical hotel buffet, but they do offer mentaiko and tuna. On the way back, the hotel booked a taxi to the airport, which took 10 minutes. It's a bit far from Shirarahama, Senjojiki, and Sandanbeki, so it's best to get a timetable and have change ready if you're taking the bus."

"I just checked into this hotel and was extremely satisfied with both the environment and the service. Although I had informed the hotel in advance via email, I arrived much later than expected, past the normal check-in time, because I had taken a late JR train from Osaka city center. However, the hotel still held my room for me. A special thank you to Mr. Liu at the front desk and a lovely Japanese lady with bangs; they patiently answered my questions, made restaurant reservations, and arranged shuttle bus late into the night, ensuring our itinerary for the next day went smoothly. Our room was a Japanese-style house, spacious and clean, with soft bedding and a balcony overlooking the onsen (hot spring) and a beautiful sea view. You absolutely must try soaking in the onsen in the morning—it's incredibly relaxing!"

Historic Nanki Shirahama Onsen with tatami baths A hot spring inn where you can enjoy an open-air bath surrounded by nature. Nanki Shirahama Onsen is a historic hot spring area where emperors and others traveled all the way from the capital to enjoy hot spring treatments. You can enjoy hot springs full of natural beauty.

"Location: Not close to the beach, but next to a fishing boat berthing port. It is impossible to walk to the beach. If you want to take your kids to the beach, it is best not to choose this place. There are no convenience stores around. If you don't bring breakfast and dinner, eating will be a problem. Check-in: Deliberately give Chinese tourists a bad room type. I hope everyone will pay attention to this. You must go to the front desk to argue. We booked a better 50-square-meter room, but we were given a ”shelter tool room” directly facing the parking lot. After repeated communication, we were changed to a much smaller downgraded room. There are obviously many empty rooms. Food: Breakfast and dinner are buffets, and the choice and taste are not bad. Hot springs: There are three, men's hot springs, women's hot springs, and mixed bathing for men and women (wearing swimsuits), but in fact, the mixed bathing is just an exaggeratedly small pool, which can be almost ignored. Swimming pool: There is a swimming pool for children to play, and the children are happy."
