"Having stayed the previous year for a couple of nights it was our first choice to stay on our return journey from visiting family property in Brittany before boarding ferry. The staff could not have been kinder accepting our luggage hours before official check in allowing us to walk around Roscoff without any difficulty. The hotel is centrally situated and offers superb facilities with a car park close by. I would definitely recommend staying whether it was just one night or use it as a base to explore the fantastic Bretagne region."

"We stayed at hotel Aux Tamaris for one night prior to a morning ferry return to the UK. Our room was an annex at the rear of the hotel. This was accessible via a hallway, 5 steps and door to the small courtyard. It had its own secure external door which was fine as we had dry weather. The room was large with a king sized bed and small double bed with large shower and toilet en suite. A wardrobe and dressing table. A kettle, tea/coffee/sugar, towels and basic toiletries were also provided. The bed was firm but very comfortable and the pillows were like marshmallows, very squishy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the room had recently been refurbished. The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. They spoke limited English. We did not have breakfast as we left early. We would recommend staying at this comfortable, friendly hotel and hope to visit again in the future."

"This is a four star property. The only food available was microwaved and preserved. from the menu I ordered pave of salmon and puree de pommes de terre. It was awful and overcooked. Its a sad reflection on Mercure that French cuisine had come to this."
