Although it is a bit far from downtown, it offers cheap rooms for a 4 star hotels, free drinks, and the breakfast is good as well.

Have stayed at this conference style hotel many times - both for business and for pleasure. Tranquil and beautiful location with views of the fjord. Interior no nonsense nordic style. Exceptional food quality, the breakfast buffet for starters - is a testament to Danish high-end produce.

The room and hotel were clean. The hotel had lovely outdoor courtyards and balconies to use. Breakfast was a nice buffet. They do not have air conditioning, but a small fan in the room. The hotel is quite far from town, so a car is necessary.

Lady at checkin was unhappy and refused to talk Danish as we spoke clearly in Norwegian. Room was smelly and poorly ventilated (dirty filter?) - no way to open to outside air. Booked Dinner But as we arrived Nothing was ready for us and the host was unhappy about it - But after discussion gave us a table. Buffet food was lukewarm at best. Wifi was unstable and so was tv (without Norwegian or swedish channels - But many German…)

Absolutely amazing stay! My boyfriend and I stayed for one night because of Roskilde Festival (we're just too old to camp) but we're slightly concerned because of the placement away from the festival site. But no worries! A shuttlebus from hotel to festival ran every hour. Amazing service.
Overall, Roskilde Comwell is an amazing hotel. Incredibly friendly staff, super clean rooms, great breakfast. Recommend!
