The apartment is just 400m from the town centre in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, in a quiet Cul-de-sac, south facing, with views over the town. The property has a balcony where one can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the alpine scenery in both summer and winter. Chateaux D'oex provides year round fun with numerous activities for all. The town has a large co op supermarket with a good range to select from, plus a couple of lovely local bakeries. There are several good restaurants in the town, La Gare which offers steaks on a stone, La Poste, another restaurant serving good local foods and The Bear which also has a great menu.

A Superb ski region with 250 km pistes, 66 lifts/cable ways and nurseries. Nearest piste with cable car 10 mins drive , ski school 400m.
Glacier 3000 also available usually open for skiing Nov to June. Other slopes within 15 minutes driving distance.
The 32nd International Balloon Festival will take place in Chateau-d'oex from the 23rd to the 31st January. With its exceptional microclimate the alpine capital will welcome around 80 balloons from over 20 countries.
