Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Duene

We had our family Christmas here. Besides the nice design of the hotel and the clean rooms, there is nothing good about this place. The service here was unfriendly, slow, and disorganized from the start of our booking through check out. The staff seems to be mainly comprised of grumpy trainees. They also don’t seem to speak German or English very well, which understandably makes it difficult to provide good service. The painful experience started with the booking process. Our group wanted a block of 6 suites. The reservations team took 7-9 days to respond between each email, sometimes only after me following up. In the week leading up to our stay, the team was a bit more responsive, but in general they made it needlessly difficult to organize our stay with them. When we arrived, we didn’t even get a “hello” from the reception. The keys were shoved in our face and no info or help was offered (no info about breakfast, where the facilities were, no offer of help with our luggage). Except for the breakfast, the food is overpriced, the selection is not great, and taste-wise, the food was pretty bland and unmemorable. One night in da Mario, we waited 20 mins to get our leftovers packed, and we ended up just leaving as it seemed the staff had totally forgotten about us. Another night in the Brasserie, the staff seemed very annoyed to serve us - to be fair it was busy that night, but our group felt unwelcome and uncomfortable there. They’ve overpriced a lot of their food and drink; make sure to bring your own water bottles or you’ll be stuck paying 7,90€ for 0,5L water. One night we asked for two liters of water delivered to the room; the bill including service charge and tip was nearly 40€ 😄 The last little treat from their staff came today: due to illness, we needed to late cancel two of our spa reservations. When we canceled, the spa generously offered to let us cancel free of charge. However, after we left, their team emailed us to let us know nevermind, we would have to pay after all.

Arthotel Ana Amber

You have to keep the hotel open for a few days, but: -the Superior rooms are only different by about + 2 qm from the standard rooms, -the rooms have no cooling possibility for drinks in the room. There is no drinking machine or ice machine throughout the hotel. -the bicycles booked and promised were not yet there, -the parking situation was devastating since there was still a building site (in the rest, the price per night is not proportional to the price of the stay, with €15 per car), -with our 4-tday stay, only one seat was working for the entire hotel, -the carpet in our room was not cleaned during our stay. My husband's trousers were full of dust when he accidentally dropped them to the ground. Every day the bed was re-recovered 🙂. -the arthotel is not optically different from the B&B hotel just next to it. This resulted in we first landed in the wrong hotel, - breakfast for €12 per person is not bad, but also not good. One-tone, completely unsalated rhetoric, fruit nectar instead of juice. Every morning the same - the location is not top. Ca. 3 km to the center, surrounded by streets. In the area of 400 m only the Neptun Center with Edeka and Aldi ... No restaurant, no stick. However, you can only go to the city port about 10 minutes. There you can find a few restaurants. What was positive: -the people at the reception were friendly and effort. -the tram stop was just around the corner, -the soap in the donors smells good, - there was a cafe all day for free. All in all we wouldn't choose the hotel again.

Trihotel Rostock - Wellnesshotel Adults Only

Rostock|4.98km from city centre
We spent a prolonged weekend in this hotel and were excited! The staff is very customer-oriented, friendly and premature. Our room was large enough, equipped and clean. The interior is “the hamer”! But look stylish and really beautiful. The mix of modern, nature and colors has been mega successful. The wellness program offered we have of course also used. Massage and (small) swimming pool directly in the hotel. The arrival went well, the hotel is located something outside of Rostock, but very well to reach. Our room was equipped with a double bed, safe, TV, night table, luggage, desk, the bathroom was equipped with shower, washing table, toilet, oven, make-up mirror, soap, shower gel, shampoo. Fast and friendly check-in and check-out. The staff in the restaurant is top trained and advanced. The staff in the restaurant is top trained and advanced. The food would be allocated to the high class. The price/performance ratio is appropriate. The breakfast buffet was “the knocker”! Sufficiently available and also regularly made. The only thing missed a small smack was the time frame that was allocated so you had to look at the clock. The swimming pool in the hotel is a little small but sufficient for a wellness weekend. The offered massages were pleasant, but we were used to something else from our domestic massages. (As a woman I would have preferred a woman to be a massage woman. But that's my personal “problem”.) Price-performance ratio: Very good We'll certainly come back again.

IntercityHotel Rostock

The friends we went to from the airport were very convenient. It would be great if we took a taxi directly. Then the front desk service was very friendly. We stayed in so many hotels and felt that the price performance of the hotel was very high. Recommended
Gastehaus Rostock Lutten Klein

We booked on arrival, the price was cheap and allowed us to stay for days with out stress, went across the road bought small grocery to eat inside our room that had a kitchenette with a toaster, pans,pots...everything we needed including a single plate stove. White clean towels, clean pillows and bedding. I will stay here again lots of places to visit were ten min drive away and a big shopping center a walking distance!
Pentahotel Rostock

When I opened the bed sheets I found a brown stain. It was really disgusting. Moreover, the pillow was so unconfortable. I woun't dare to call it pillow, it was literally flat. I woke up with neck pain, of course... The curtains are so short that it doesn't cover the whole window. For me it's a problem as I need darkness to sleep. On the other side, I informed them by email with several days in advance (plus when I checked in), that I was gluten intolerant and that I would need something gluten free (bread or whatever) for breasfast. When I arrived to the breakfast buffet the next morning they served me 1 TOAST. That's all. I asked them for another piece of bread and they said they run out of it. Ridiculous. Definetively, a disaster. I will not go back
Hotel Sportforum

The hotel is simply clean, located at the park behind the Baltic Sea Stadium. The two stars at the service have the really (no irony!) friendly older gentleman in late and also the delightful night service in the roll. The young lady is recommended to go to the day service a profession where she does not have to/shall/shall be able to handle with customers.
Ringhotel Warnemunder Hof
4.1/55 Reviews
We spent our summer holiday this year in Warnundür Hof and had a really great time. Despite the many Corona restrictions, the staff was very professional and well managed. Here you can see that Mrs Boldt, as restaurant manager, has the store and the staff is very valuable and still consistent. We had great respect for the fact that the service staff had always carried masks and also always correctly (and not even under the nose or just half-hearted etc.). The restaurant is really top for the quality of the food and does not have to hide behind luxury restaurants, especially the 3-G-ange menus in the half-pension were a dream. The only two criticisms: - The bike rental fee of EUR 9 is very expensive, especially given the individual old bikes. There would be a more cheap multiday rate. - The breakfast eggs were cooked very differently and could be a bit more soft than very hard;)
Radisson Blu Hotel, Rostock

Good choice for stay at the city. Very nice hotel and excelent bed. One of the best night sleeps I had out of home. Good option for the minibar - its free if you opt out of the service of cleaning for your room. Nice view to the harbor and good connection to the city transport networks.
