Le Marin Hotel Rotterdam City - Handwritten Collection

Enjoy staying here for 3 nights. Located near Rotterdam Centraal and easy for access. The room is always clean everyday if we put the tag for cleaning daily in the morning before left the room.

Dear Le Marin team, I am not writing this to leave a bad review, but rather in the hope that my feedback helps the hotel recognize and address these operational issues. The front desk staff lacked a customer-service mindset and double-charged us, even though we insisted that payment had already been made via Trip.com. They claimed it didn't show up in their system, so we paid a second time. Fortunately, later that same day, my partner checked our account and noticed two charges on the card. When we brought this to the attention of the employee who charged us, she initially denied being the person who checked us in. I pushed back and reminded her that she was indeed the one who took my card. To make matters worse, her demeanor while handling the situation was incredibly unpleasant. I truly hope the hotel begins to recognize that good service should be at the very heart of hospitality. Thank you

The hotel was fairly clean but dusty. In a good location close to the train station and metro stops. The hotel decor is dark and the rooms are not very well lit

The hotel was really nice. Everything was clean and tidy, and the stay was pleasant. We felt good and would happily come back.

We stayed at Le Marin Boutique Hotel during our trip to Rotterdam. While the hotel is not far from Rotterdam Centraal, first-time visitors should plan their route in advance. We initially followed Apple Maps, which led us on a longer path, but there's actually a more direct route. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment. We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance. However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

The room was dirty, stains on the doors, not sure what was on the headboard but we can only imagine, and the cleaning staff do not clean under the bed. There is not places to really hang up clothing properly. The rooms is very small. There is a horrible smell in the elevator, and the surrounding area does not feel safe. Coming back late in the evening from a concert certainly around the hotel was not a safe feeling. The staff was really nice and helpful but we would never stay there again.

Nice cozy hotel with friendly stufff

Quite a nice hotel that is very close to the flixbus bus stop. Water pressure and heater are great. The air condition gets quite cold but you can always ask the reception to adjust it. It's an old building so every sound made within the building is amplified. Apart from that it was a very good stay.
