"We just spent 11 nights here and apart from a few minor issues, I would definitely go back and recommend it anyone who wants to holiday in Croatia. The hotel itself is obviously on an island, with another island joined by a walkway. This means there is loads of space for people to go and investigate, and set up on a sunlonger out of the way if they wish. There are 4 pools (2 large, 2 kids), and lots of sunbeds. The pool area is closed until 9 am, so as long as you're there on time, there's no real danger of not getting a bed. The food selection at breakfast and dinner, was good, and is much the same that you would find at any half board hotel. I've had better, but I've also had a lot, lot worse! I've read some reviews with people who have complained about it, which I really don't get. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It was my wifes birthday while we were there and we came back to the room one evening to find a bottle of champagne, and a birthday banner. The ferry to and from the hotel was no issue as long as you time them correctly. The only things that could have been better all concerned our room. It was myself, my wife, and our 11 year old daughter staying. We found our room (No 275) to be a bit on the small side. There's a table and chair in the room, and with the pull out bed opened, they get in the way when going out onto the balcony. Toes were stubbed on the chair on numerous occasions The wardrobe space wasnt great for the three of us. There are two top shelves for clothing which I had to use the chair to stand on (it did come in handy i suppose ) to be able to reach. I couldn't reach them, and I'm 6ft 1" tall. Our fridge didn't work. The drinks that were in there were luke warm, which also meant, any bottles of water that we put in there, also stayed luke warm. I reported this to reception the day after we arrived, and nobody had came to check it out by the time we left. These are minor things, and it would not put me off from returning. All in all, we had a lovely visit "

"This is well equipped as a children's play hotel, ideal for young children and parents. However there are no real facilities or comfortable areas for adults, especially at this time of year. Neither are there many comfortable areas for families of differing ages to relax together and chat. The feel of the hotel is similar to living within a children's nursery facility. It does that really well. Transport out of the resort into the town is limited. Prior to 30th September there is an occasional free bus, a chargeable land train & chargeable boat. After that there is no free bus and no boat. The land train is also mainly full, leaving a taxi the only option at €20 one way. This was not made clear to us at the time of booking, or even on 30th September whilst in the resort, which was annoying. At the end of September various services at the hotel were reduced and advance notice of this would have been beneficial. Generally the service was just about ok, not especially helpful or friendly. The quality of the food is fresh and good, if rather repetitive. There is 1 child friendly bar area and the dining experience is chaotic and whilst totally child friendly is also disappointing if you are expecting a more usual adult or family mealtime. There was no evidence of any la carte restaurants. The hotel is very clean and well kept, in extensive grounds with two pebble beaches. There are various swimming pools indoor and out, catering for all ages and abilities that are attractive and well maintained."

"The location is beautiful with 360 degree views. Lovely trees make it a shady and breezy place to stay which is good in the heat. Lots of families but also lots of space to find peaceful spots. Rooms are a little dated. Shower over bathtub and no kettle. Comfortable beds and clean though. Breakfast choices are extensive. Lots of fresh fruit, cheeses, eggs etc. It was my birthday whilst there and they realised from my passport and left a complementary bottle of Prosecco on ice in our room which was a lovely surprise. Good value and recommended"

"Just when you think you've seen it all, this place proves you wrong. A week's holiday for €2,600 – and the only thing we had in abundance was ants. The entire house was practically infested. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, even in bed – ants were everywhere. Relaxation was out of the question. We spoke with other guests, and they confirmed the same problem. Apparently, this isn't an isolated incident, but a long-standing issue that's simply being ignored. For the price, it's an absolute disgrace. The value for money is completely unacceptable. We definitely won't be coming back."

Nice spacious rooms, quiet area, and bicycles from the hotel to go to the beach or downtown make your visit so easy and stress-free. The staff, along with the owner, is something that you rarely find. So polite, so considerate, so friendly, so smiling - it's healing for the soul. For breakfast, they make their own bread, one of the best I have ever tried. I even got the recipe :-). Thank you all for the beautiful 3 days, how short our vacation was. "The hotel couldn’t have been more perfect. Spotlessly clean, attentive and helpful staff. Great to have a pool with amazing views. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the old town but we discovered the land train which we chose to catch back. Rovinj is a wonderful place to visit. Staying at Level 5 just made it perfect."

"The room has a terrace, but the bathroom is a bit small. There are only double rooms, so it is not suitable for friends traveling together. It's a bit far from the old town, about 20 minutes' walk, but those with cars can ignore it. The breakfast is OK, not too rich, but the waiter is very friendly and almost always responds to your requests. You can eat until 11 o'clock."
