"The hotel is situated in a quiet area a little way out of the centre. We walked everywhere and found a short route into the old town. (We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues. The staff were exceptional in all ways. The room was spacious and clean with a kettle and some flavoured teas a coffee machine but no coffee. However the owner did go out and purchase some cappuccino sachets. We were greeted on arrival with a drink of our choice and some home baked pastries, which were gratefully received. Breakfast was outstanding with a varied choice to suit every taste. The owner Christian was extremely friendly and helpful."

"Left after a week feeling hugely disappointed for a number of reasons below: Staff - Some lovely staff but largely I found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. The man who runs the pool gift shop, is just downright rude. Accommodation - We stayed in the superior Family with Sea views. But be aware, you may not end up with this when booking a superior family home, most actually are set back from sea and hidden in trees, marketing for these homes is misleading that all will have sea views. Internal space is tiny in living areas, luckily the terrace is substantial to spill out on . Facilities in mobile - Very poor, in other up market campsites we have had Nespresso machine to have a nice coffee, you only get a drip coffee maker in mobile. The biggest issue however was there was no bbq or plancha outside for cooking. I have never seen this in all my years touring campsites in Europe. I think in part to try to force people not to cook in their accommodation and use over priced restaurants Pool area - Very chaotic, either no life guard at all or when there was ONE, he sat 30 yards away from pool at back sitting area with no real view of pool. He was largely on his phone so didn't seem to care much at all. on 1st of July they brought in a policy that you must pay for your sun loungers by the pool! I had payed EUR 2,500 to stay in a nice campsite with good facilities, and now was being told that I had to pay an additional cost of EUR8 per bed to look after my children by the pool. I complained dto reception and was told it was because it was getting too busy. The reason it was too busy is there was no monitoring of who was using the facility, you were supposed to be gaining entry to poll area by using and electronic bracelet to get through security gates. The security gates either did not work or were removed completely, so I saw 60/70% of people in pool without bands. But campsite would not care as long as people are there spending money in bar and restaurants. Restaurants - Extremely expensive - no kids menu at all - EUR 5 for soft drinks, main courses generally EUR26 Evening Entertainment - We were there during Euros football, so that was prioritsed on screen. Nights where there was entertainment, it was very quiet and poorly attended again because people didn't want to pay expensive prices for a drink. Super market - Only open limited hours, closed at 2-3pm . Again seemed to be sest up to force people to eat in restaurants, and drink in bars. Why else would a supermarket be closed during peak dining hours?! A couple of positives - Campsite is in beautiful setting, beaches and landscaping are very well maintained. Kids games room is excellent - new PS5's and Nintendo switches to play on. But be warned kids need to share there console with others in same accommodation, even when it is quiet and 60% of consoles are free. Will not be returning. Urge others to look elsewhere! or do what it seemed a lot of others do, go to a cheaper"

"This hotel and island blew us away. The setting, the views, the plentiful food and drinks - all wonderful. Everything was immaculately clean and well kept. The surrounding water crystal clear for snorkeling and plenty wildlife to see. We went to the Basilico Pizza and Pasta restaurant a couple of nights and the food and service was excellent. Rovinj itself was like a postcard and the first sight of it from the wee ferry across from the island will never be forgotten. We had a brilliant time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel."

Matia u kuhinji priprema najbolje rovinjske palačinke i omlete! Konačno, Lidia i Lorenzo su sjajni domaćini i neizmjerno nam je drago svaki put se ponovno sresti. Per noi tornare qui è come ritornare a casa. Questo è un luogo unico, sia per la sua posizione, sia per tutte le persone che lavorano qui e lo rendono accogliente e curato ogni giorno. Fra le tante cose che ci piacciono, svegliarsi ogni giorno avendo davanti solo il mare è una sensazione impagabile. Qui troverete, oltre a una vista impagabile anche una colazione fantastica che oltre ad essere sempre ricca di cose buone è accompagnata dal sorriso splendido di Anita e della sua collega Danea. Matia, in cucina, prepara le migliori palačinke e omelette di Rovigno! Lidia e Lorenzo, infine, sono padroni di casa splendidi e che ci fa immensamente piacere ritrovare ogni volta."
