Holiday Inn Express LONDON - GREENWICH by IHG Reviews

I had an overall decent stay at Holiday Inn Express - Greenwich. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and suitable for a short stay in London. The rooms were comfortable and functional, though fairly basic, which is expected for this category. The breakfast was average. While it was convenient to have it included, the menu was the same every day, with limited variety, which can feel repetitive if you stay for more than a couple of nights. On a positive note, the staff were very polite, professional, and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the team handled requests efficiently. Overall, it’s a reasonable option if you’re looking for a practical stay with good service, but don’t expect much variety when it comes to breakfast.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the o2 Arena and underground station. Good location if visiting for a concert. Staff very helpful. Hotel located on busy road but you can’t hear it with the double glazed windows. Breakfast is buffet style. Very tasty but has limited selection. A good experience in all aspects. I would recommend.

The hotel was great location for the 02, walking distance 29 minutes or the bus route 442  The receptionist on our particular stay was very informative and very pleasant, (sadly I forgot to take her name - 15/16th January days)  Breakfast was very pleasant buffet style but catered for everyone’s needs, plenty of food too  Room was clean and cozy, the bathroom amenities are ample ( plenty of body wash, shampoo and hand soap)  Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugars if you wake before breakfast or require a soft night cap..  The only downfall was the car park charges, personally I thought £25 for one night was a little expensive, if I was staying longer than the one night I would expect a little discount on this only., apart from that an all round good stay

PARKING ON SITE: Reception informed me there was no discount for blue badge holders and that a third party company was responsible for parking price. Please be aware that the cost for one night's parking was £25,

“Not bad, breakfast is good” Staff good, room is tidy but outside cleaniess have to improve when they check out time till 5-6pm out side the corridor side still full of blankets or towels throw on the floor other wise still okay have to alert on this. Breakfast is good. If no noisy and won't get disturb ia good to stay. Will come again. Location easy to access have some of place nearby there to go to shop. Nice place

Staff very friendly and helpful. 20 min walk to O2 so location good. Room cleanliness very good with plenty of hot water. Carpet only tthng that let room down as marked in several places. Would stay here again if attending O2.

We had 3 rooms booked, all were clean and quiet. Views of the o2 and London skyline at night were amazing.

The hotel has great location but the windows are not totally sealed is there is noice sometimes

The overall experience was below par in relation to the price paid as the general cleanliness left a lot to be desired and even after pointing out my dismay, it wasn't thoroughly dealt with. The tissue roll was substandard , felt as though they didn't make an effort to prepare for us. Breakfast was ok, except for the juice which was not very tasty(too watered down in my opinion).

The Holiday inn express Greenwich is in a great location close to the 02 arena. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds, the shower and bathroom is very nice. Me and my wife had a lovely time staying for one night. Much nicer than the Travel Lodge. We were lucky enough to get this at a price too good to miss and which included Breakfast. It is a comfortable walk to the O2 and there is plenty to do and eat nearby. The hotel was clean and the bed so comfortable. Room is small but has everything you need. Breakfast was delicious and plenty and capped off the stay perfectly. Come for the location and enjoy a relaxing stay 😎

Big disappointment was the breakfast. During the week breakfast is served between 6:30 & 9:00 so we got down there around 7:30. Lots of space to sit and nice and relaxed. The food on the other hand was awful, there 6 or 7 heated trays of the cooked breakfast buffet style. I’m guessing that they’d been there since 6:30 or maybe slightly before. All the food was barely warm and you had things like sausages that were cold and as tough as leather, some very pale scrambled egg which was also cold and same with all the other supposed hot items. Disappointed because the rest of the stay was good.
