For the cleaning of the room you have to notify every morning if you stay more than one day; the room is large with a view of the Thames, but the upholstery of the chair is worn and unpleasantly stained; the staff is very helpful and kind; the breakfast good and varied. At dinner the food is very good but the waiting times are very long.

HHelenI was lucky enough to be able to check in early at midday and make extra use of the spa facilities, which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Great location for attending events at the O2, especially with the covered walk way to the arena, direct from the hotel. The pool area of the spa is nice but looking slightly tired in places (one of the sets of steps into the pool was broken) and my room was well equipped (with an amazing river view from the 14th floor) but a little characterless. But over all it was very good. I'd stay again!
GGuest UserGot tickets for abba at O2 ,so we rang and booked a room the night before (lucky) Great location . Been before which was great but this time room even better as it had been recently renovated.Breakfast was included no complaints at all everything that anyone would want in the morning. Thanks to staff ,very helpful as well. We are going to book again to stay and see all the tourist local places besides the O2! Great stay, thanks
BBen BristowNice hotel tucked away a stone's throw from Deptford Bridge DLR station. Nothing really in the area other than a Co-op shop and takeout coffee shop so you'll likely be using the DLR to go to Cutty Sark for drinks and food etc.
Didn't mention I had to pay a £50 deposit for any add-ons. Still waiting for this to be returned after checkout.
Friendly staff and free warm cookie on check-in.
Room was decent but as a solo room rather cramped and a strange design with the bed in the middle of the room with a cupboard behind with a bathroom behind. Light switch and plugs on the side of this cupboard. Also a bit of noise from above.
Very good free WiFi and nice TV in room. Tea and coffee provided on an awkward kettle tray thing you need to somehow carry from behind the bed to the desk. Safe provided also. Desk also not ideal as you can't put your feet underneath properly as there's a shelf below. Aircon/heating decent but heater causes condensation on mirrors in wall. Rooms tidied and bed made every day which is nice.
Didn't try the bar as no price list in the room and looked very posh/expensive.
Overall a decent stay. I think someone needs to test run a stay in the room I stayed in though (room 1) just to see how unintuitive/awkward the room is. Would maybe stay again if cheap but would look for better location next time.
KKamariehFor us the hotel was quite good. We were there 3 nights.
Greenwich station is less than 2 minutes away and takes you to the centre.
Overall the hotel was clean.
The staff was nice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast does not offer a large selection. I was missing more vegetables and more cold cuts like cheese or similar. My son was happy with the pancakes. When an adult pays for breakfast, a child eats free ( £8.99 ).
The area wasn't so special now. 10 min walk and you will arrive at Cutty Sark.
Unfortunately everything was completely closed on Christmas Day, including public transport. That's why we only went for a walk near the hotel that day.
The rooms aren't that big, but you only sleep in them and don't stay in them for too long. Unfortunately, the pillows were too hard for us. We are stomach sleepers and our heads were too high. We didn't feel comfortable without it, so we slept with it and this led to back pain. But that's complaining on a high level, because everyone likes pillows, blankets and mattresses differently and in their own way.
There are supermarkets nearby. We always go to the Tesco which is 10 minutes away and bought water and snacks for the evening.
We would book the hotel again, in contrast to other hotels, it was inexpensive and yet clean and safe.
MMAURIZIOPrefabricated plastic bathroom.. only 2 shower handcuffs and no smaller.. breakfast £15 too expensive.. is probably the worst Ibis I've ever been in 40 years
NNjohns13A minimalist hotel but very zen, the staff were really helpful and the room small but cosy.
The design of the hotel is really nice but it’s very basic and you need to make sure you understand the concept.
There is a vending machine to purchase cutlery and other things you might need in the room, there is also a hot drinks machine, which drinks cost £3 and hot water £2. There is a Tesco and a sainsburys a few minutes walk from the hotel. 10 minutes away is the Cutty Sark a high street and Greenwich market and park. The hotel was really quiet even though it was busy.
JJAMIENice Hotel, Good location right next to Station. Decent Breakfast, Bar Area is nice albeit Expensive but this is to be expected. The breakfast in the morning is a bit chaotic they seem to run out of things quickly and not have enough staff on in my experience. Also you have to queue to be wait to be seated but not always someone there to greet you so you can be left standing there until someone comes which isn't great.
GGuest UserSt Christopher's Inn Greenwich is the first hostel I lodged when I first got to the United Kingdom in February 2023 and this prompted me to book the place again this year.
The cleaners and some members of staff were very nice and respectful but a short lady was very rude to me. She is light in colour and I have her picture.
I approached her to make some enquiries but she insulted and made derogatory statements to me. She even shouted at me and was very rude. I was embarrassed by her actions and just left the lady.
She pierced her ears and was on duty around 1.30pm on Monday 26th February. Her actions depicts someone who is frustrated and I don't expect the lady to be pouring her anger on customers. What I avoided was confrontation with her because I am a gentle person who doesn't like unnecessary arguments with people. But I feel lodgers deserve some form of respect which for me is reciprocal.
GGuest UserNice and friendly staff. Have coffee machine with free capsules for guests. Room has a small open kitchen and is quiet but at a convenience location. Across the street, there are some cherry blossoms along the side street on both sides too.
GGuest UserStaff were really friendly and the rooms were clean enough. We stayed here due to proximity to the O2 as we had tickets to an event but I don’t think the hotel is really catered towards families. Smells of ********* and the sounds of couples “enjoying their night” filled our room in the early hours. I’m glad my son was asleep!
