Terrace House

The room was very clean, apart from one of the pillow case which was soil. Was very quiet and everything was at my finger tips. Perfect location and the restaurant was a 10/10 for me, staff treated me like family.

Comfy bed, staff were very helpful, good location. There is club on bottom floor, something to watch out for. It wasnt a big deal for me as i had ear plugs.

Check in could be better. The check in experience wasn’t great as the man who greeted me seemed not to know I was arriving. He then passed me onto someone else who had me down as Kane rather than Jane. I was taken to my room but the start wasn’t welcoming. The room needs a bath mat

Booked here for one night whilst going to see Pet Shop Boys at Warwick castle so this hotel was very convenient as easy to walk to train station to get train into Warwick. Looked clean in the room on first inspection but there were some minor issues such as slow running water in shower causing it to nearly overflow, cobwebs on ceiling, marks on walls and the tap in the bathroom was very wobbly. Just more attention to detail required as it was very good value at £76 for a double for one night. Better cleaning needed though. Some reviews mentioned the noise from the below terrace bar (which was nice for a drink) but this didn’t really bother us. All in all ok for one night but room wasn’t massive so would feel a bit claustrophobic if staying longer.

Not a great stay We were greeted with someone checking his watch in annoyance as if we were early for check in (we weren’t), then I had to ask where the room was because it wasn’t obvious. The entrance to the “hotel” is down a dark and dirty alley, where the bar seems to store a few broken pallets and hasn’t been swept in a while. The bedding was clean and comfortable, but the cleanliness of the hallway and bedroom wasn’t great. Hairs and debris on the floor, crumbs in the bedside drawers, dirty marks on the walls. The carpet in the hallway is heavily stained in places. The drawers on the bedside cabinets are broken, with handles inside the drawers and the drawers fall out when you open them. The bathroom door is one that slides between the walls, it goes too far and it’s a struggle to get it out again, and there’s also not a handle on the inside so you have to use your fingers to pull it open using the grooves in the door. The toilet brush and toilet roll holder and tarnished with rust, and the toilet brush handle is broken so it can’t be used hygienically. The main door to the apartments slams and so does each of the apartment doors. There’s also a large gap underneath so lots of light comes in from the hallway at night. Curtains aren’t great either. No lock on the inside of the door, so no real security features inside. It’s a convenient location to the centre and onward travel, such as the railway station. But, it’s next to bars and you can hear their bottle bins when you’re in bed.
