The Spa Hotel Reviews

We recently completed a two-night stay at your hotel and wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience. On the positive side, the hotel has a lovely garden, the swimming pool is a good size, and the breakfast was delicious. However, we experienced a significant issue with our room (the Indulgent room). While it does have air conditioning, the unit is unfortunately located inside a cupboard, which made it ineffective. The room remained very hot, which was particularly challenging since July is the hottest time of the year. Although the hotel staff kindly provided a fan, it was not sufficient for the size of the room, requiring a second fan for our second night. Additionally, the view from the window was mostly of a roof, which was disappointing. We hope you find this feedback constructive for improving the guest experience in that room category.

The pool and sauna facilities are small. A wedding was being held so it was noisy until 1am. The room is well designed and clean.

The car parking is excellent - far better than most hotels in the Royal Tunbridge Wells area. The Hotel room was not huge, but comfortable, and clean. The bathroom was fine and super clean if not super modern. The staff were all amazing. The breakfast team, reception team were extremely helpful and polite. Great breakfast, although room service, whilst quick enough was not the best meal I have had... Smart TV's are a real plus and the grounds are amazing. All in all think this is a great option and will stay again

A lovely, calm experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but the bathroom felt brand new. Air con works superbly. Restaurant offering was good too.

Lovely break with my daughter. Hotel looks a little bit rundown from the outside but inside it’s lovely. We had a cosy double room which was far more spa than we anticipated.

This is a lovely hotel with extremely spacious rooms and en suites. The Orangerie dining room has a lovely outlook onto the peaceful grounds. Although we didn't have an evening meal there, we did enjoy the breakfast. The staff were extremely accommodating with our delightful little son/grandson of ten months and deserve praise for their hospitality. We were there for a wedding at the nearby Beacon Hotel (four minute drive or 20 minite walk with a pram) so it was incredibly convenient. As its a spa hotel, I felt obliged (!) to have a wonderful massage which although £110 was well worth it! A 20 minute walk takes you to the charming Pantiles area of Tonbridge Wells which had lots of eateries and was very unusual - quite unexpected. Everything about the hotel was great value. It could do with slightly updating in decor but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed one night for a local wedding. Excellent communications before arrival as I was at the wedding at check in time. Everything done over the phone and on arrival at night after the wedding the staff helped carry my luggage which I had left in my car in the grounds. The bed was very comfortable. Shower excellent as was breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.  No complaints at all.

Arrived late and checked in was an awkward process. Booking through this site will get you the worst room in the hotel! Facilities are adequate but not inspiring, the pool is small.

Lovely hotel, stayed for a long weekend and used the spa facilities - they gave us a free upgrade which was a nice touch! Beautiful grounds, restaurant was lovely and only a short scenic walk to the town Only critique was the pool was quite small without much seating available and the sauna was male or female only - but the rest of the stay and amenities more than made up for it! Also recommend the afternoon tea :)

The rooms are larger than they appear in the photos, but the amenities are a bit dated (some rooms lacked USB ports, and the bathroom heating panel was broken). The restaurant was pretty good. I especially recommend the lunch menu. The portions were generous and delicious. 😋 The man who impressed me the most out of all the staff was the man in the restaurant. He had the best service attitude.

This is a hotel I like and often stay in around London. It has its own swimming pool and sauna facilities. Compared with other hotels with SPA facilities, the price is cost-effective, but the restaurant serves food slowly.
