Another great meal from Olly and his team. Incredible value for such high quality food. Set menu (5 course) £65 per head - where else can you get this level of food for this price? To add to this, there’s a relaxed atmosphere and great cocktails. What’s not to like?Support this restaurant or lose it.

Went for afternoon tea today and it was a lovely trip down memory lane for both my Mum and I. We both worked at the Mount Somerset around 25 years or so ago! Mum was the Head Housekeeper and I was front of house back in the day. Afternoon tea was lovely and very filling and the service was spot on. Wishing Ollie, Rebecca and the team the very best of luck going forward, this beautiful building deserves to be brought back to its former glory!

What a joy to revisit Mount Somerset after many years. After hard times the house and restaurant are a delight. Olly and Becs Jackson and their team are so natural, engaging and welcoming. Food was outstanding, Fillet Steak in Rossini style from Bonner's of Ilminster. A full evening from canapes to die for through 5 courses and on to champagne at midnight followed rapidly by explosive fireworks by Kevin. Go.

What an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The building is beautiful. The entrance hall was tastefully decorated giving a warm Christmas glow. The bar area was cosy and inviting. The drinks were delicious especially when accompanied by some yummy pre dinner goodies. The dining area was grand, the service was friendly and professional. The food was outstanding, every mouthful was scrumptious! We WILL be going back! Thank you team Mount Somerset! Emma Grover

Lovely welcome by friendly staff in impressive surroundings. Hotel has been redecorated and felt warm and relaxed. From the welcome canapés to the coffee the food was wonderful. We’ll be back to eat again at this hidden little gem in Somerset ❤️

This is our second lunch visit since The Mount re-opened, and the food and experience was excellent again. A fantastic location to meet family and friends, beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed our afternoon.

Warm, friendly and very professional staff. Beautiful venue and absolutely wonderful food. The setting is beautiful and the building is elegant and spotlessly clean. Excellent in every way! I would fully recommend The Mount Somerset. A stunning place to have the most delicious lunch. We had a really lovely time. Many thanks to all.

Wonderful meal, excellent service, beautiful setting. I had contacted the hotel in advance to ask about accessibility, which is so well thought out. Accessible parking spaces just by the side door, bar, restaurant, toilets all on the level. Really can't recommend the hotel enough, go! We will be back

Fourth visit to the mount Somerset since it reopened . As previous visits, food excellent and staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive. Beef today was amazing, best Yorkshire pudding and accompanied by the best cocktails. Shout out to Ali, who made our experience 100% better , by her friendly advice and general chat throughout todays visit. 🥂
