Great environment, perfect lake view, peaceful place away from the city crowd.. Food might seem expensive but worth the quantity. Be careful with the pool, its 6ft, However they provide you swimming tube.. I loved it!!

This is one of the best hotels we've been to around the world. The resort has extraordinary views of the lake and the green and white Himalayas. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Everything is green and full of flowers and butterflies. We're looking forward to visiting it again.

We arrived at the resort by boat ride along the calm water of Begnas Lake, so fun! We had a very nice bungalow overlooking the lake and since it was raining while we were there, we did not try the pool. However, we enjoyed the food very much, particularly their papaya (the sweetest I've ever tried) and the grilled fish. The breakfast menu was great, too. The rooms are clean, good service, and the staffs were very friendly, nature and ambiance were perfect! The only minus point was that the resort involves lots of stairs so maybe it is not elderly/wheelchair friendly.

Sitting in the trees on the hillside above the lake, the views are stunning. The rooms are large and clean with a fan and air-conditioning and a view over the lake. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, TV and toiletries, hairdryer, but no shower gel. The service was excellent and the food very good. There are a lot of steps to climb to get around the resort, so it is not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. Take the boat transfer from Begnas Bazaar to the resort otherwise, if you arrive by car, there are almost 300 steps to reception. There is nothing to do in and around the resort so we were glad we only stayed one night. The swimming pool needed a clean, otherwise we might have used that. We were pleased we stayed there however just for the beauty and tranquility.

We stayed at this lovely resort for a few days as our friends chose this wonderful location as their wedding venue. We arrived by boat across the lake, which was an exciting start to our stay. After navigating the many steps up to reception (a stay here will definitely keep you fit), we were blessed with a fantastic view across the lake and surrounding countryside. In the mornings over breakfast, to see the views of the mountains were simply the icing on the cake. The food was authentic and fresh. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. We really tested them (unintentionally) as my partner got sick during our stay. The owners and the staff helped to get medicine, arrange for a doctor to come and provided everything he needed, including their immune boosting soup (highly recommend). I also had a massage there and it was just the tonic to soothe the muscles after our hike. Their organisation of the wedding was also superb , they attended to every detail and it was a magical day to remember. I'll let the lucky couple tell more about that though. I would definitely stay again to relax in a peaceful and scenic place, perfect after a hike in the area.

Come here for the views! This hotel is uniquely located and beautifully constructed. The air conditioning works in the rooms, which are like little cottages. The food here is delicious. Kudos to this hotel for offering excellent Nepal wines--not the ubiquitous and sickly sweet Australian Jacob's Creek. (No fault of the hotel: the cicadas sound like tinnitus which can be draining; the heat was to the extent that the pool was like a warm bath -- but then so was the lake water temperature.) There are many steps to climb at this boutique resort which was fine as I was in hiking mode in Nepal. The lack of wifi in the rooms is worth noting, and the little clay vessels holding the shampoo and conditioner I found difficult to handle when showering.

Imagine walking down the hill and all of a sudden it just opens you with a vista that will mesmerise you with its serene pristine lake with small villas and a few boats waving with gentlemen. Oh my God simply poetically turned me. Exactly this place is a gem with an ayurvedic centre and well take diet and nutrition. Yes, jump to a pristine lake to chill down or just calmly connect to nature in tranquillity just sitting quietly on a lake dock. Trust me it's like a time-lapse ultimately peace and you are in complete zero existence where space and time will facade. If you are a natural type and love exploring your inner self or someone looking for inspiration to rejuvenate your writing skills. No comments all taken we'll care and must visit the place.

We spent two incredible nights at Begnas Resort with our two kids (10 &7) after a six day trek. Our rooms were beautiful, comfortable and idyllically placed on the grounds. We enjoyed the food, pool and multiple floats in the lake on the resort-provided inner tubes. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly kind (including making the common room available at 1am for a World Cup game!). One of the highlights of the trip was watching the hi jinx that the resident cow got up to every day!

It was such a pleasant stay. Needed the quiet and tranquil place for couple of days and the resort was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Little hike in the morning is highly recommended. The owners also seem very kind!
