Mermaid Inn ★★★
"Very good experience"
Old Borough Arms ★★★
"Perfect location in the heart of Rye for exploring the cobbled streets. The Old Borough Arms is a fantastic place to stay with generous rooms and helpful and attentive team. We stayed with our son in mid-January and the room was warm with the most comfortable bed! Will stay again and can't wait to have an ice cream once it warms up a bit."
The Ship Inn ★★★★
"The room facilities are very clean and complete, but the price is a bit high"
The Hope Anchor ★★★
"Beds were really uncomfortable. Very hard mattress. Big cobwebs in bedroom area. Furnishings very worn. Poor pressure for shower and basin. Breakfast was great and staff friendly."
The Lookout Rye ★★★
"Excellent service, Breakfast very lovely."
The River Haven Hotel ★★★
"Cute, simple stay. Perfect for the price. No thrills or spills, but a good shower, comfy bed, and friendly staff. Don’t forget to leave your key at reception!"
Playden Oasts Hotel ★★★
"Very unusual round brick room. A surprise atfirst but then the positives. No noisy neighbours. Good insulation and so unusualthat it was special."
The George in Rye ★★★★
"It's an old house with no elevator, so it's not recommended for travelers with large suitcases. There are only about 20 rooms in total, each with its own characteristics. We stayed in the attic on the top floor, where the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom and had a large bathtub."
The Kings Head Rye ★★★★
"wow wow wow Kings Head is absolutely fabulous, on arriving was greeted by Lucy with big friendly smile explaining everything, she gave us our key to cottage number 6, the cottage was spacious immaculately clean and décor was really lovely colour combo, its the little things when you go to a hotel that makes it tip top, and this was no exception you had everything one would need, the bed was so so comfortable, that you just didn't want to get up lol.. we had dinner which Lucky kindly booked us a table when we arrived, we were in what they call the snug, was delightful, very tastefully decorated service was extremely good wish I could remember the young waiters name who served us he was very polite and attentive, food was excellent and plentiful.. same with the breakfast had a good choice and food again was delicious, so nice to see a dry plate not one spec of oil on the plate perfect.. We had the most amazing stay even if it was for just 1 night, the staff at this hotel were wonderful, this little gem of a place is fantastic I would recommend a stay here you wont be disappointed.. would we go back YES in a heartbeat... so Thank you to all the staff and the owners of having such a gorgeous establishment... good value for money without a doubt...last but not least its very peaceful all we could hear was the twitter of the birds bliss"
