Good wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. A bit strange closet-folding bed, furnishings overall quite old and shabby. Still good value for money.

Liked · The room was big enough. The kitchen had all we needed to cook ourselves a dinner. The breakfast was rich and very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Those we spoke to turned out to be Hungarian, which made communication even easier.

A lovely hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed for a week in February and were able to get the local bus into Zell am See to ski (about a 20 minute ride). This is also the same bus that takes you to Salzburg which is handy for the airport or a day out! The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel and is free to Zell am See for people with a ski pass. The hotel is very clean and cosy. We had a studio room which came with everything we could need, including some complimentary food which was very handy! The bed was a little uncomfortable as it was a sofa bed with a very hard mattress and the pillows were very flat. Otherwise the room was great! There is a ski storage room, swimming pool, sauna, and a games room and the restaurant is lovely. The food was excellent although the chef would prioritise making main courses for all guests before making desserts, so we had to wait a while between courses. There was live music on the Friday night which was good fun.

We have just returned from a week staying at this lovely residence with my sister and her husband. The couple that manage this property - Norbert and Agnes are truly wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. On our first evening we had booked a restaurant nearby and were a bit apprehensive to drive there in the snow, Norbert offered to drive us and collect us. There is a very welcoming bar area, really homely and charming. Our room (recently refurbished) was exceptional and so comfy with fantastic views of the mountains. There is a swimming pool and sauna to relax in after a days skiing. The skiing in the area is fantastic and extensive (car needed to visit the slopes). The hotel also has a ski and boot storage area (heated). To sum up - a lovely place to stay and a wonderful welcome. The couple that manage here make this the place it is! We didn’t want to leave!

Excellent hotel. Great service and attitude from the staff. Reduced facilities out of season but everyone bent over backwards to fill in our requests when asked. Highly recommended with a great pool and sauna. You need a car to make the best of the location but easy touring from here.

Admittedly the resort has seen better days. It is next to a highly frequented main road und has discontinued its restaurant service except for breakfast. WiFi is also not available in all rooms. But the hospitality extended to its guests is outstanding. Cleaning is exceptionally superb. The staff is going out of their way to help and make you feel at home. All necessary resources are in close proximity so that you will not be missing anything.

Small apartment overlooking the garden, a little too heated... very pleasant... very friendly staff... too bad the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff... just pizzas and aperitifs possible... cleaning done regularly except once...

The rooms and the apartment are very simple but clean. A renovation would be appropriate. The hotel is located on a noisy, busy street. Due to a lack of staff, the restaurant is closed and the reception is not manned between 1200 and 1600. Breakfast is offered, but we did not eat it and therefore cannot say anything about its quality. The swimming pool is closed for repairs. The hotel complex is also not very well maintained, but this is related to the lack of staff. The efforts, especially by the reception, to mitigate these shortcomings are very positive. We were given a bus shuttle to drive us to and from nearby restaurants in the evening (and even once at lunchtime). During the day we enjoyed the surrounding Alpine beauty in our own car. You can rely on the restaurant recommendations of the always friendly and competent reception staff.
