The room was very clean and comfy to stay. Easy to check in and we dint have to wait for a longer time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Near to Padi field and Redang Beach. Easy to find seafood restaurant nearby. Definitely will come again. Thank you for great hospitality.

They call this a “homestay,” which almost deterred me from staying here. It’s actually a pleasant hotel that just lacks a 24 hour front desk — I think it’s staffed during daylight hours — and relies on an electronic kiosk for check in and check out. There’s no cafe or restaurant, but there are food vending machines in the lobby and restaurants nearby. You’ll want to come with your own transportation. That said, we had a very pleasant stay there, and if you don’t require hotel services, you will too. The hotel is located in one of the many concrete, box-like structures that you’ll see in the padi fields around Sekinchan. These used to be commercial nesting houses for the swiftlets whose saliva nests are used to make birds’ nest soup. Normally the swiftlets nest in caves in remote areas, which makes harvesting the nests difficult. But if you have plenty of swiftlets and no caves, as in Sekinchan, you can build an artificial cave and have a business. I guess that business didn’t thrive, and many of these bird nest houses have been repurposed into alternative uses like this one. The hotel is constructed entirely of concrete (floors, walls, ceilings). The rooms are adequate in size with a huge window providing an excellent view over the rice fields. The rooms are immaculate; air conditioning is good; and a station providing filtered drinking water is available next to the elevator on each floor to refill your water bottles. The kiosk-based check in and check out works well, but is inflexible. If you want to extend your stay you still have to use the kiosk to check out on your original date of departure and check in again. Even though you’re paying for the next day, the kiosk still will charge you a significant penalty if you don’t complete the check out by 12 o’clock check out time. This is weird and inconvenient (and the front desk staff don’t tell you these details), but if you know the rule you can easily manage it. The limited front desk staff speak only Chinese, with the exception of one older lady who frequently isn’t there but is reachable by phone. The hotel has a few set ups in the back (swing, heart-shaped seat and staircase to nowhere) to help you get Instagram-worthy photos on the spot. These seemed to be very popular with young couples staying there. There are several casual restaurants nearby, including a good Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks away, plus lots of Chinese restaurants. (The population of Sekinchan is 80% Chinese.) I came here to photograph the abundant kingfishers that nest in the banks of the irrigation canals running through the rice fields. Padi Sentral was perfect for my needs — comfortable room, perfect location, inexpensive).

nice place for relax, good view for padi farm, jz morning breakfast abit fast finished. overall is good. will recommend friend and family come again.

There are not much choices of hotels in Teluk Intan that meet my family requirements but this hotels are an exception. The room are modern and clean. Bed and pillow are comfy. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I must say, good job to the hotel team and I hope they can maintain it as long as it is. Thanks for such hospitality. Fyi, we took the family suite which include 2 king size bed, 2 bathrooms in an interconnecting room.

We booked through Agoda 2 interconnecting deluxe rooms and left a special remark that this request is crucial as we have toddlers with us and a maid to accomodate as well. We received a confirmation that this request was approved. Upon arriving, we were shocked to be informed that the rooms have been given to others and there were no other interconnecting rooms available. Despite the confirmation, seems the management there dont really pay attention to it. However, upon talking further to Ms.Dalilah the front desk staff, we suggested to upgrade our room to 1family room and remain the 2nd room as a standard so we could accomodate all our kids in our room and leave our maid in another room, all of these with no extra cost to be incurred. Dalilah was very calm, composed and was very supportive, she called her superior and got us what we requested as we were not at fault for their ignorance. Very good location, nearby to hospital, town centre and food places. Price is okay, and the service is good. One of us left her handbag at the entrance and the receptionist was very kind (and honest) to return it to our room.

First and foremost, we had our stay from 29/12/2020 until 31/12/2020 for a short vacation with my family. 1 day prior before arrival, i've made a call through the FO and request for comp anniversary deco but it is chcargeable instead around RM150 which was alright. During the process i've asked what sort of deco do they display and then they suddenly told me to contact the housekeeping instead to gather more info which was quite weird. Later on, another receptionist (Suraya) called me and happily assist me for setting the decoration for my parents and the overall was amazing which made my parents suprised. Kudos to Suraya & the team. On the next day, when we were about to leave for our activity, there was an unexpected incident where our car rear window was shattered due to contractor using grass trimmer right next to our cutter which cause several stones flew right through our rear window and was not happy about it. But then, the management willing to replace the new window on their behalf and able to settle it during the same day. Overall, the room was delightful but not much of soundproof room as the neighbor room were very loud and we can hear their voice. Other than that, we are glad to stay here with the management able to go for extra mile for the deco and change the car window. We will surely come again in the future and hope the staff can go extra mile for their returning guest. Warmest regards, Syamim

We really enjoyed our stay here, it's located near Menara Condong. The jacuzzi is clean and nice. Toiletries are complete, bed is clean. View is very nice also. Very comfortable. The owner is friendly. Will definitely come back. Teluk Intan is a calm and relaxing place. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you so much for the kind hospitality!
