The female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here.
There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance.
The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels.
There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that.
There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)

About 8 minutes walk from Saga Station~
There are convenience stores nearby and a large supermarket is not too far away.
Accommodation conditions are just like ordinary youth hostels
The shared kitchen is not very useful
The power of the induction cooker is not high enough ~ the heating is weak
And it will affect the travelers on the bunk beds next to the curtains.
This is a rather inconvenient place

It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I thought it would be hard, but it turned out to be clean, tidy and warm. It really broke my stereotypes. The location is just 7 or 8 minutes walk from the JR station, on the main road. Across the road is an izakaya with all local guests. It has a sense of age and atmosphere. The food is good. I recommend everyone to try it. It's called "Tong". There will be two buses to take everyone away at 9:50 the next morning for Spring Airlines flights. It's not far from the bus terminal, so you can walk there. Toiletries are charged extra, so I brought my own.

It is inconvenient to leave your luggage, so if you need a place to leave your luggage after check-in or check-out, we recommend another place (500 yen for 20 inches of luggage stored in the station, 700 yen for more)
Also, although it is on the second floor, the stairs are steep, so it is not recommended for carrying heavy luggage.
Other than that, I'm very satisfied! In particular, it rained that day, so my shoes got soaked, but there was a shoe dryer so I was able to keep them dry.

A very local style one-family house, a family-style B&B. It's about a 10-minute walk from Saga Station. There's a small bar on the first floor and accommodation on the second floor. The stairs are narrow and steep, so be careful when going up and down.
Although it's a small B&B, the service is very good. It rained on the day of check-in, so I left my umbrella at the entrance. I had to check out early the next morning, but the first floor area was locked. Later, I contacted the store and they mailed it back to me.
