We arrived at this tranquil oasis after dropping off a rental car.  The property is beautifully presented and maintained.  Every staff member we engaged with was friendly, attentive and professional. Our room was on the small side (as we expected) but had everything we needed and was as depicted in the photos.  The hotel has a number of indoor and outdoor areas to relax in and is very private and quiet.  Our included breakfast was generous and varied.  Dinner was gourmet and reasonably priced.   The hotel is in easy walking distance of St Denis' interesting city scape and sea front.  There are also numerous other dining options nearby.   Would love to stay again and highly recommend this property.

This hotel is cozy and makes you feel like you are home. As a solo traveller I really enjoyed the feeling this hotel gives you. It is in a great location, quiet to sleep, lovely pool, good breakfast, clean room and very friendly staff. Just up the road is a grocery store and other restaurants are close by. I am English so I found all the French signs rather confusing. I didn’t understand the menu but that is maybe more my fault as this is in a French country. Only one English Channel on the TV. The room was on the small side but I wasn’t in it much and you want to sit in the common areas as they are so inviting. I couldn’t open my large suitcase on the floor but as I was on my own I made it work. I was able to borrow a kettle as the room didn’t have one. No fridge in the room. Bed was very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again and I really loved my entire experience of this hotel.

The staff was helpful to provide essential information about communication, transportation and attractions.

Good choice for a stay in St-Denis Conveniently located near the centre of town, Le Juliette Dodu is a charming and comfortable hotel in a characterful Creole mansion. The only criticisms to make are that the bar staff are somewhat amateurish and the food in the restaurant is very limited in choice and poor in quality by Réunion standards. However, on Sunday evening there is very little choice as almost all restaurants in the city are closed.
